Sorry to hear of your brother passing.I cant help you on worth but I still use mine quite often. Hard to use for a transaxle but works great on RWD stuff. Most jobs are done on lifts now and not the floor. Was your brother a transmission man?

Don't know anything about your brand but the 1/2f 3/8m is common for tools used in transmission R/R. Most are much longer 36" average. They make getting top bell bolts that a 1/2 swivel is to big to get into. 3/8 swivel and able to use a 1/2 ratchet/breaker bar for more leverage.

I have been using a denim apron for years. Do most work at the bench and have a bad habit of holding up work and using my belly as an extended workbench. Also helps with keeping stink off,nothing like the smell of a chrysler transmission that ate its converter. You carry that smell for DAYS!!!

Can you center punch the new hole on the other side as not to end up in the existing countersink and then use a dremel tool to slot and then new countersink?
