I know it would be like really close but the Challenger E10 is 11' 11 7/8", loving mine at the moment.

It does sound to good to be true. I did a 38 x 40 and came out at a little over $45k once all was said and done.

    Ceiling Fan Controls

My experience is you cannot daisy chain fans and expect to be able to control them from a single controller using anything but full speed. In my case at least, the controller would on low setting only provide a low amount of power to make the fan spin on slow and then would not be enough power...

    Question

Subscribing to this one. I am in the same scenario except my son is 17. So far I don't mind his friends at all, I get along with all of them. I have had a couple of them do work in the garage and they, and he, just don't respect the space. I have had to clean up grease tracked all over the...

    Mountain Lift

Verified that Mountain is in fact rebranded Challenger lifts. Kudos to my wife, she did her homework and all is going to turn out well. At least in the future a search for Mountain and lift here will generate a result that shows the actual branding of this lift.

First I heard that and would be good news. Any place I could reference that?

    Mountain Lift

She was trying to be thoughtful and had spoken to others. She did realize she was out of her element and involved me so lets not make this about her but about the original question please. Thanks.

    Mountain Lift

Well. My wife just suprised me with the fact that she was intending to purchase a lift for me as a combination present for my birthday and Xmas. The brand of lift she had been looking at is Mountain and it is model #MTN5590 and is buying for about $2,800. Unfortunately it does not appear...

Need recommendations on insulating a garage door

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150071&highlight=insulate+garage+door This thread shows the same thing I did. Basically bought a sheet of insulation and then cut into pieces. Then toko another sheet with the foil backing and did the same thing over top.

    Garage Ceiling Insulation

Mine is similar in that I have a lofted area in the middle of my trusses for half of the garage. For that area between the floor and the downstairs area I did not put any insulation there before putting up the drywall. It was my understanding that insulation only goes in area that separate the...

    Used Pellet Stoves

This is an Afton Bay by St. Croix. It is about 12 years old now give or take but runs great.

    Used Pellet Stoves

I think with anything else it is buyer beware. Do the research on the model and go look at it. I ended up paying $400 for a used pellet stove/w chimney pipe and have never looked back. Ended up having to buy an ingitor not long after but that was cheap. Like you suggest, I did raise it off...

Through the Wall AC Hole Sizes

I searched Amazon for the largest throughthe wall AC I could find. Before putting sheetrock up, I cut on of my studs and built a bottom and top stud and just framed out an area big enough to accept the largest AC I could find. Insulated, put sheetrock in and walked away. Summer time came and...

    Using a clear coat.

Thanks for the tips. I will contact Rustoleum just in case but based on what you state, basically, the key is the clear needs something to bond to. That being said, this may sound silly, but if you sand it to scuff it up, will the clear coat still end up as shiny as would be expected? I guess...

    Using a clear coat.

Been about 9 months since I put down my epoxy floor. I went with the Rustoleum Proffesional version. Now in hindsight I wish I would have done the clear coat as well. Instructions say, if I remember correctly that clear should be done within 5 days of rputting down the epoxy. Anyone have any...

    Simple heating and cooling shop

Very happy witht he pellet stove I have in my garage now, 1500 sq feet and heats it easily. If you want you could also do a pellet furnace and use duct work. That way you don't have to worry about keeping wood in it all the time, I run a bag of pellets about every 20 hours give or take using a...

    What the best shop light

Installed 19 of the 2 bulb 4' Lights of America lights from Walmart. Only had to take 2 back for being bad. That coupled with Phillps 5k lights and it is daylight in my garage right now. No interference from the ballasts at all. And hell, if one goes bad, replace with another for $10, no biggie.

    60" ceiling fan

At all my local HD they have said that the 60" fan is marked as inactive and that they are discounted since HD will not be carrying them anymore. I would love to get at least 2 if not more for my garage but looks like in the MD area I am out of luck. Haven't found another comparable fan that...

    Rustoleum pro epoxy coating done

For my install I had 1440 square feet and used 4 kits, each kit has 1 gallon part A and 21 gallon part B. Concrete was new and smooth, I only did 1 coat, it was all I needed and I could have easily gotten by with just 3 kits. The box says it will cover 350-400 square feet and in my limited...
