    generally, you can find a used snap on or mac for around a grand, and the price is significantly lower if you can find one with a broken part (slide, handle, caster locked up) in which case, buy the box, and contact your local so or mac guy and get a replacement slide etc... lifetime warranty...

    your best bet for a 1-2'' would be using a impact u joint from craftsman... got mine for 9 bucks and its strong as an ox.. plus has a ball style detent

    i agree 100% with dan... husky is a great tool for the price... just get a different storage box for them, because the case the sets come in *****

    snap on 1/2" sockets? chrome/industrial/impact

    the impact socket will be noticeably heavier to the hand and will feel more solid... plus using the industrial on a friction ring impact gun will actually round out the corners of the drive slot..

    looks like a decent box for the house, but you would be far better off finding a one-two year old classic 78... same drawer setup, but better top drawer. the top drawer of that viper box looks like it would be awful difficult to fit a 1/2 hansen socket tray in it, and i live by my hansen socket...

    Kobalt and Gearwrench tools

    Not much dealing with Kobalt tools, except their toolboxes are good for home use just not great for everyday shop use. As far as gearwrench goes, they are great! They don't seem to be a bad wrench, and they do have a lifetime warranty... however, i recommend buying the reversible ratcheting...
