Hyvar is another good soil sterilant, but as mentioned before, sterilants leach badly. You will find out quickly where the water flows after a rain shower. You will be reminded for a long time too. Everyday.

Terminal supply may be another option. I know they do the nuts and bolt part, not sure about screws and such.

Live traps, and take them for swimming lessons. Sure they are cute. They are also destructive.

When you get it down to where it is just the basement left, be sure to bust out basement floor as well. That way, if it takes a year or more to build your new garage or shed, it won't be a swamp from all the rain and snow melt that had nowhere to drain to. Old basement hold a surprising amount...

just looking for updates/progress report

i too want to build mine from scratch as well. my wife, after seeing some of my other projects wondered outloud if i could do it or should do it for that matter. if nothing else, i will have lots of material for shelves in my garage when i measure once and cut it twice and find it's still too...

like someone else posted ... maybe a childs playhouse? diguise it with a swing and a slide :)

a wheelbarrow with no scratches? why even have one then? i like the family handy man solution. cheap and easy.

any updates? where did you find your plans. we are looking to build a shed as well for the same or less money than the lowes/home depot/rent to own places. have you found this way to be cheaper? i know material choice will determine alot, but is this costing you about what you figured?

is the garage squared on the house, cause it looks like your garage is slanted in relation to the fence. all that said and asked, it looks to be a nice garage.

looks like it would reflect a little more light back into the garage as well. looks nice too.

keep the legs. easier to clean the dust/dirt that always seems to find its way under the bench/cabinets/whatever.

What is your floor drain going to connect to? In many areas this is an issue. You can't connect to the sanitary sewer and many places won't allow connection to a storm sewer. Even dumping into a drywell is sometimes not allowed. dont you like how you cant have a drywell to catch the run off...
