If the lift is a SPO92 it has a overhead bar. If it is a SP92 or something of that nature then it is bottom plate. I used to work at rotary. The "O" in SPO92 or SPOA10 or whatever two post you are talking about means overhead. No "O" means floor plate model but those are all very old by now.

When installing a 4-post lift it will have to be shimmed so that everything is perfectly level. So the more floor slope you have the more shimming will need to be done.

A rolling jack would be the most useful item hands down in my opinion.

On a similar note you can use a "wheel spotting dish" such as those used on automotitve lifts. Just find out where you want one of the front wheels to be and put the dish down at that location. That way you are always parking in the same spot. The only downside I see is that is something in on...
