ALL: I picked up a few nuts and bolts this week, but I really wanted the Rotobin so it was a lot of work, but it's mine now.
also picked up a little vise too.
cheers and hope you all have a great day
Most of this weekend's flea market haul. Had a great time, it's one of my favorite things to do.
Nice pickup Dave! Shame to hear the guy was basically bad-mouthing his grandfather.
Seller sounds like a real piece of work...
Great save Dave!

I've always liked Sansui. I still have my old Sansui 5000.
This one is a model 800.

Davefr, that flex nut driver may be for adjusting carbs.
Knife:
Little curved knife with leather handle looks homemade but well made

Nice finds everyone!
On Friday, my usual morning was canceled, so I went to an ES a bit out of my way, spending $38 there:
![]()
Cornwell socket box, RHFT Craftsman and in/lb torque wrench
![]()
Blue Point Metric T&D set, almost complete!, BP left hand drill bits, Williams 3/4 universal (that is how dirty most thing there were) and a Craftsman =V= ratcheting adaptor.
![]()
Misc. Craftsman metric sockets, Herbrand and Hazet wrenches.
Sat I hit a few GS with little to show for it, and then hit the scrap yard.

The Duro ratchet and long C box were from the GS at a buck each, but the rest is from the scrap yard. An almost complete Craftsman =V= socket set, some other misc sockets, Yankee push drill bits in wood case, and the best of all, Plomb screw extractors, never used! All that cost me $14.
I've got a similar one for cutting lead came when doing stained glass.![]()
Safe travels, Lugz!/// NOTICE ///
Before I forget to do this...
I will be abroad from August 7 through August 23 with limited to no access, and then an old Army buddy and his wife will be staying with us for a week immediately after that. And tomorrow is going to be crazy with last minute packing etc. So I am effectively off the net until September. No biggie. Just didn't want anyone to wonder if I got hit by a bus. I trust you will all continue to play nice and if anything actually goes kablooey in my absence, there are enough former hosts and old hands around to cover for me.
!!! HAPPY HUNTING EVERYONE !!!

Had some good flea market finds while back visiting Buffalo.
Williams box full of all Mac metric sockets and Williams u joint.
Hornet 3/8 drive, most of the set.
Wizard 1/2 drive and 3/8 drive, most of a set with some dupes.
First of all, excuse my tardiness in welcoming you to the thread, durant. Until it caught on fire one day!, I drove an Austin-Healey 3000 for awhile back in my teens. Looking forward to hearing more about your Sprite in the coming months. As for swaps, mainly the latter, but a few good eggs have gotten swap threads started from time to time here on GJ. Most trades are just catch-as-catch-can in reply or via PM, but guys do list things in WTT thread in the classifieds, too. Scroll down when you're on the main page.I am a old fart newbie. Kinda got away from wrenching as cars these days are no longer DIY. I am working on filling in holes so I can start wrenching in style on my 1960 Bugeye. Or that is the rational. I needed a 1-5/16" socket and now the illness has spread....[ ]...Is there a "swap" thread on this forum? Or do you just chuck your USA mfg miscellaneous into a box and sort periodically?
PM sent!DBE with the funny numbers Lugz likes
Yeah buddy. That Hornet set - color-themed with the brand name - is cool! (Did you see the funny Vulcan sticker I posted on the Williams thread?)Had some good flea market finds while back visiting Buffalo.
Safe travels, Lugz!
Safe travels lugz
Who authorized time off???![]()
HAHA. Thanks, guys.The General.![]()
LUG: while we were all hoping you'd make it a YEAR without BALING...[ ]...safe travels and hope you find a few things while you are abroad that you can stuff in your suitcase and tell us about when you return.
I dunno, Drives, but if I didn't know any better this kinda sorta sounds like you didn't have much faith in me making it the entire year!
