So KDoug did a brilliant job sleuthing and picking, and sent me something from my want list (the 3/8 Snap-on 3/8 socket I lost somewhere along the way), something I could use (a nice set of Bahco soft grip files), some German tool stickers and Gedore graph paper.

On the non tool front he added a super cool TX Space Shuttle license plate which is going up in the garage.

He also included some food specialties from the Texas/Louisiana border, which I'm sad to report USPS murdered in a rage. They were especially well packed, and only broke in my front steps after USPS tossed them over my gate.

I'm intrigued by the flavors and smells though, so I've got replacements on the way via Amazon. Mayhaw Jelly, which I've never heard of, Cane Syrup, which I prolly shouldn't be eating (but shhh), and Louisiana Hot Sauce which I'm gonna like.

Many many thanks KDoug!

Jbullforg must have done a seep dive and learned I'm into flashlights and LED tech, as I got an LED "worklight/flashlight" as well as other goodies!

Hard to get the light to show lit up (glare) so just the flashlight is on in the pic! its small size would have been GREAT when I was fixing the wire harness under the dash on the Tbird a few weeks ago!

Also came in a plastic case, with Twix, a Velcro cable strap, some stickers - Vintage Craftsman and Warning, (I especially like the warning as I have MANY "Pre OSHA" tools! :pimpflash

Thanks JB!

Chris, glad you enjoyed and can use your gifts. I was planning on replacing what was broken, but didn't want to reveal myself until you posted your gifts. Do you have a picture of what all broke? I realize you already ordered some replacements, but I used Priority Mail and the package was insured, so I could file a claim.

Funny story about the Texas License plate... My boss's son threw a bunch of stuff in the dumpster and he tends to throw good things away, so my boss and I rummaged through the dumpster and found a pair of those cool Space Shuttle license plates. Figured somebody would want them.

My secret Santa this year was Jeff Moss, pretty cool fact is that Jeff and I have actually met in person once a few years ago when my grandfather and I were on a mission to purchase a dump trailer and we stopped at the hardware store where he works!! He got my two pairs of NOS USA vice grips two pairs of ideal wire strippers and a Klein terminal size flat blade screwdriver which will come in handy at work! Thanks again to Jeff and all the folks who make this work on the back end!

Mine arrived today so I'm catching up.

My SS was Duker and he hit it out of the park! Tools by Knipex, OEM, Craftsman, and Felo! All great quality stuff I can definitely use.

Thanks Duker!

To follow the rules here is the under tree picture on arrival.

Got mine today! Well part 1 came today part 2 arrived Monday. My SS remained anonymous, but a huge thank you. The adams detail kit will be put to use soon. I actually recently used the last of the interior detailer. Also got the mop at sign to hang up in the garage. It will get hung up after I get the walls painted in a few weeks.

A little late to the party here! Been traveling for Christmas and finally was able to open up the things under our own tree!

Big thanks to ohmthis! I received a bunch of great items to use around the shop. A tape measure, some gloves, scriber pens, center punch, Silverstreak marker, a headlamp, a Bluetooth beanie hat (that has already been claimed by my son lol) and some “gun powder” seasoning I’m excited to try out this weekend.

Merry Christmas and thank you!!

Great thanks to Oggy who surprised me with an awesome GJSS Gift package!!!

The traditional "under the Tree shot. Sorry no lights. My Wife had already started disassembling the Tree. She did put the Garland on it for the picture.

First a Car & Driver Magazine with the new Corvette on the cover...on the wish list!!!

Secondly 2 Patent Prints Framed near and dear to my heart.

One is the Patent for "Ronnie Barrett's M82A1/M107 Anti-Material Semi-Automatic Sniper Riffle".

I have both versions of this fine Weapon System. Spent many days behind these Firearms from New Mexico to Kentucky to Minnesota honing the craft of Precision Shooting earning the civilian version of a Hogs Tooth.

The other Patent Print is of the "Snowmobile Tread Drive and Suspension System".

I remember when the "Slide Rail Suspensions" were introduced. I was 4 years old. All the neighbors had Bogie Wheel Suspension and my Dad just got one of the first Slide Rail sleds. Not to mention my friend from High School and College Roommate, his Uncles started Arctic Car and Polaris. I am sure they had some involvement in the Patent since they owned Arctic Cat. I will be forwarding him a picture of it. Wish Edgar and David were still alive today to share it with them.

The one thing sent, but not yet received (second shipment) put a lump in my throat. Oggy sent me his "Subdued" Flag Patch from his Service Uniform from his time spent in Iraq 2009-2010. Wow I am floored. Very few times in life I have been set back and this definitely is one of them.

My hat is off to you and I am grateful for your service!!!

I am a Patriot, Red, White and Blue through and through.

All will proudly be displayed in the GDS Sunkworks Office!!!

Thank you Oggy!!!

Pat

PS See I am not really that hard to shop for...:lol_hitti

Awesome gifts from my SS!

I love that you were able to find a local tool I didn't have (Picquic), even though we are from the same country. The flashlight I've steadily been using for the last couple days, and its been very nice; I like the double output feature.

Haven't had a chance to use the hat or handkerchief, but I surely will.

Thank you!

You are most welcome! It was kind of funny sending a local tool...locally :bounce:

As for my GJSS "victimizer", our second Christmas (at the lake) is tonight so I have to wait a few more hours to open up my gift. Kind of tormenting me knowing it is there.... but the lake is where my garage is so it seems fitting!

My SS knocked it out of the park!! He got me a badass dead blow hammer with rawhide as well as a The Land Cruiser Legend book which is a history of the Toyota Land Cruiser. I was blown away to say the least. Thank you sir!!

Plan on taking it easy this weekend and reading some of the book.

It all should have been in on Monday, but the post office does post office things!

click on " go advanced" at the bottom of page where the reply section is
half way across the page you see a paperclip icon, click on that
now you see the browse /upload page. browse for a file on your computer, click upload. when upload is complete, open the paperclip icon again and click insert

Okay, I believe I have gottten everything in. The first package arrived Monday, the second arrived earlier today. Don't know who to thank, but thank you mysterious Secret Santa. I'm impressed with the Milwaukee locking pliers so far, and can always use a pair of Channellocks.

Thanks to all the folks that make this happen. I'm looking forward to next year.

My Secret Santa remains a secret. Whoever you are, thank you so much. I see now why you stalked me via Facebook :shocking:

First, since I wrap like a six year old, this was impressive.
View media item 99681
Next came an incredible selection of eclectic gifts that I could never have thought up.

This was made for me as the back side has the Can-Am logo! Cool!
View media item 99685(size does matter, MRS Outlander coached you I suspect)

I actually have some Becks beer that needs this bottle opener!
View media item 99684
If I look in my living room bookcase, I will find some wonderful old books and magazines where these will be a welcome addition. This reminds me of my Dad and my Uncle who would have exchanged such reading material at Christmas decades ago. Wow!
View media item 99683
Packing material? Maybe, but I read them to get a feel of where the gifts come from.
View media item 99682
Once again, thank you so much for the thoughtful gifts. There is even a perpetual reminder as I now have a Craftsman Christmas tree decoration! Forgive the super ugly Charlie Brown tree, it is the one my parents put in my room when I was little. It is probably a million years old (like me). I replaced the dangerously rotted wiring & lights this year with little LEDs, thanks to Mrs Outlander.

All the best for 2020, Secret Santa!

Thanks SS!

Oh boy! SS killed it. A little late reporting in because I was out of town. But my SS nailed it. I love it! I went to a junk yard on 26 December and pulled some 2-0 speaker cable out of a junked car. And what did I get when I opened my presents on 28 December? The terminal ends and a crimper. Just what I needed! Also, the knife has been in my amazon wish list for a while. So cool. And I love different seasoning. Lastly, I will have to step up my game for next year as each gift was individually wrapped! Thanks you so much and happy new year!

Many thanks to my SS Ksullivan. Squares from Empire and pens/pencils/markers for the shop, sauces and marinades, Wegmans coffee, and some homemade peanut brittle! Now... My mother always told me not to take things from strangers. However, she never said anything about taking things from internet strangers:lol_hitti. Very good brittle, much appreciated!

Many thanks to my secret santa. The adjustable wrench with integrated hammer will be put to the test. The flashlight will be carried daily, as my mini maglight quit 2 weeks ago and hasn't been replaced yet.

Omitted from the pic is a bucket boss tool caddy, which my 2 year old daughter has taken to use as her new dolls blanket.

Thanks also for the local Arizona items...those are actually my favorite since they give the gift sort of a person feeling.

I'd like to say how much I enjoyed being part of the secret santa. It was my first time and I'm already looking forward to the next one.

Glad you enjoyed everything 😁

My seceret santa did a great job. I forgot to post a pic right away so the candy bars and Chex mix are gone lol. My favorite part was the hand written letter, it really appreciated that. I got saftey glasses for my kids who are always in the garage with me, a new calender full of ford trucks to geek out to, and an m12 light. There were some local candy bars and homemade Chex mix that dissapeared rather quickly. Dang kids.

To the guys that made this a thing and my SS, it really ment alot.

Finally got to open and take pictures, thank you very much to my GJSS, I am new to the smaller Milwaukee batteries, but the light certainly is very bright and will come in very handy under vehicles.

Sorry it took me so long to get my post up, just got back from being with family for the holiday and finally got a chance to get my gift open and posted up.

A huge thanks to my awesome secret santa for the great gifts! The WERA micro screwdriver set will definitely come in handy, especially when wiring controls and relays!

I can't wait to try the pecan toffees, they sound delicious!

Many thanks to my Secret Santa, trackwelder!

Pic to follow on Saturday, as I’m out of town; I couldn’t wait to open the other night. Proto adjustable, brand spanking new BluePoint die grinder, and my absolute favorite, an M1950 stove made by Coleman in 1951! Trackwelder really hit it out of the park for me, and I’m thankful for his thoughtfulness.

Merry Christmas!

Finally getting around to posting the long-promised picture. I'm still amazed at how well trackwelder did with this gift.

Not pictured with the stove are the included wrench and spare generator, both of which are often missing, but are in their proper places on this stove.
