1.25" Concrete Gap?

Question for the Pros.......Looking for a recommendation on what to use to fill a gap in my garage concrete floor. I have a gap approximately 1.25 wide by 4" deep. Is there a commercial grade epoxy filler to use that will also help bond it together? Thanks for any help.

That is pretty big. It would cost a fortune to fill with epoxy type stuff. I think you need to fill with some sort of a good concrete mix.

Curious what some of the concrete pros would say but that is what I would do with a gap that large.

You've got bigger issues then a 1.5" crack to fill....

Yes, its been stable for 3+ years. The problem has been resolved of the initial separation. Just wanting to know the best option to fill it. It's inside a heated garage. Thanks

I'm thinking mechanical fasteners of some sort then hydraulic cement so it won't shrink. Short of causing more surface damage i don't know of any fastener method however.
Short term what about big foam backer rods and just have top half inch with that yellow labeled crack filler that i can never remember the name of. I'd hate to fill it and then have it move again and have to chisel out a bunch of concrete. Maybe hilti has some kind of a fastener.

Future movement may hurt it but in the meantime it will not shrink and is much better than a cement based product.

If you do go with some sort of flexible filler, you can use a backer rod so you dont need to fill the full depth of the gap.

Yep, no question, Sikaflex. Fill the crack to about 1/2" deep and fill it in with Sikaflex concrete filler.
