1/4 inch Ratchet

Does anyone know how old this 1/4 inch Ratchet is? There is no name or markings. Thanks.

Those frankensteins date to the 50s, 60s, and maybe 70s I believe. As for the OEM, my understanding is it's still undetermined. They are found with many different brand names, including, but not limited to, G.M. Co., as 4.c alluded to. Also Mechanicraft, Wright, even a Berylco version, and tons of unmarked Japanese import economy sets. On some, the whole head unscrews.

Agreed. I shouldve left those out. But even among the cheapies there is a wide variety of branding, domestic and foreign.

I passed on a Wright made Powerkraft version today ar the FM.
