Can't help you on the manufacturer right now. But I have that exact same one that belonged to my grandfather. But it's over at my dads house. I'll have to take a look this weekend when I'm over there. But knowing this place, you'll have an answer within minutes.

I have several of those by various makers;most notably Henry Hyde and Dexter-Harrington if I recall correctly. I'll double check the names tomorrow.I also have a newer model made by the Warren Tool Co.Some have tools in the handle while others do not.One set I have belonged to my ex-wife's grandfather who was a cobbler and made all his blades from broken hacksaw blades.

Wow, I have that tool as well. I like it but don't use it much. The chisel part is good. Takes a nice edge.

I bought one similar to the OP's about a month ago except there's no patent date. Made by J. S. Fray & Co.
