Hi,
I couldn't find form surfing, so hoping someone may know the answer:
A friend moved into a new house. She had an electric stove. I assume it's a 220V, 30A breaker, 10g wire.
She's going to a gas stove instead, but needs 120V for the electronics (clock, ignitor, etc).
Can I swap out the 220V 30A breaker to a 120V 15A breaker and use the existing 10g wire? And, does code allow this?
Thanks,
Brad
