Hey gents. Long time no see. I finally installed tapatalk on the new phone and popped in.

As of now the roof is on, power is on, and 3 more dumpsters of junk left.

This past work season had me absolutely slammed (which I won't complain about) and this project was neglected. Now that we are slowing down it is time to jump back on it.

I just had a guy stop and give me a quote to install metal ceilings. If the price is right it's a go....it's time to get some permanent heat and lighting in this thing.

It's a little rough at the moment but here is a pic.

Great to see you back online. No worries about work keeping you busy (believe me, I can identify...!). I too am looking forward to living vicariously through your posts and being inspired to make time to work on my own garage.

Happy New Year!

That is an '81 Scrambler that I picked up off the neighbor. All it needs is a new scrambler! Someday......

It was sold and I now have neighbors. If I would have had the money I would have bought it and leveled it for some parking. I think they paid $14k

Ceiling guy will be here next week. The foam in the eaves served its purpose but had a tendency to blow out if the wind blew hard enough.

I'm going around today with bubble foil for something a little more permanent. The pigeons will be pissed.

No freight elevator needed. "Second" floor has its own garage door accessible from the front, basement has its own in the back. Looking from the front the upstairs is office space that goes back about 20'.

It is kind of confusing as the building is on a sloped lot and the front half of the basement is buried.

Another shot since the guys left. High ceiling is done now I need to move all the **** in the back to get to the low ceiling.

Then it is just permanent lighting.....stucco walls......outlets......windows......floor.......

Love it! Thanks for sharing your story.

Hope you lock your place tight before leaving or have alarm system! I hear many horror stories about people breaking in and stealing equipments and stuff!

Looks good, been following along for awhile. Even though there is still alot to do, once it is water tight it makes it worth working on and in. Hard to justify spending much on it until then.

I picked this clock up at an auction of my old elementary school. I think I have the perfect place for it once the ceiling guys are done.

There are some buildings like that in CT where the front 2nd floor is street level and the back 1st floor or basement is street level if that makes any sense.
