Saw the same ratchet in the cornwell flyer, so someone makes these outside the trucks. Also does anyone know if the 16v and 12v are interchangeable like snappys 7.2/14.4?

professional tool products. the cornwell ratchet i think is the older 10.8 non variable speed ratchet. With the 1/4 ratchets, the power seems pretty much the same between the older and newer ratchets, with either battery. 12 volts have the battery gauge, and mine are the 2 vs the 1.5 amp hour batteries. The 16v batteries don't interchange with the 10.8 or the 12 unless you grind off 2 tabs on the battery. I haven't done that with mine because I don't see the need, plus the 16v stuff is still under warranty. In the case of the 3/8 ratchets, the 16v completely blows the 12v away.
