No shipping notice, only the order status on Amazon was 'Shipping Soon". Ordered again from Amazon for $37.34 plus $28.25 s/h, this time it's supposed to come from Boat-tec. For $65 still a great deal, let's see what happens.

Got shipping notification with tracking number from Amazon. Supposed to be out for delivery today.

Shipment arrived, it was a small box and said it contained 2 36 qt. igloo coolers, weight felt like one. I refused delivery and contacted Amazon.

I would have accepted shipment then contacted Amazon. They more then likely would have refunded the purchase and to you to "dispose" of the wrong shipment.

got mine from boat-tech today & guess what????? it was a 36 quart one....did a return thru amazon so well see what happens.....this kinda ticks me off because im wondering if this place was like"just ship the 36 qt., maybe they wont return it"

well i got a response from boat tech last night and they want me to pay to ship it back and then ill get a refund...my gripe here is that im sure ill be out the shipping cost that i pay so they get it back.....SO i disputed the charge on my credit card and im gonna demand they send me a return label so they have to pay for it.... im usually not a hammer about these kind of things,but i think a "sorry for the mistake" email would have been the right thing to do..

If you ordered through Amazon, Amazon will provide you with a return shipping label. Although I refused delivery Amazon still e-mailed me a return shipping label.

I've just looked into this issue and I have noticed that the product number is for a 36 QT cooler, while somehow Amazon had the product listed as a 165 QT cooler. We have a new team member in our shipping department and unfortunately she did not catch the error with the product mismatch prior to shipping and she sent out a 36 quart cooler.

We apologize for any inconvenience to you, the consumer. At this time we do not offer a 165 QT cooler. We will offer you two choices to resolve this product mis-match within the Amazon system:

1) You may keep the 36 QT cooler and we will completely refund the shipping cost that you paid.
2) We will send you a return shipping tag and you can send the product back to us - upon return we will issue a complete refund for the product and the shipping.

I work in the oil patch and have to carry 7 days worth of groceries with me at times. I bought that cooler and I LOVE it! A lot of guys have 500 & 600 dollar Yeti's and other high end coolers , mine was 50bux and works every bit as good as theirs.
