I can see where the thumb wheel axl is pinged in. It doesn't have a slot for a screwdriver. There is no access from the other side to drive the axl our.
How does it come apart?
How does it come apart?
It's not exposed on the other side. There's nowhere to drive it out through. In another thread somebody said stand a 2x4 on edge, and then whack The wrench on the edge of the 2x4 so that the pin that's peined in place aims down. I had one that was peined less than yours, and it came out after a few whacks.
Correct. I never said use a pin punch or anything like that. It's not exposed on the other side. There's nowhere to drive it out through.
Ahh I see. I can't imagine that working but it must have at least once for someone. I'll give it a shot when I get time, thanks.Correct. I never said use a pin punch or anything like that.
You are counting on the sudden stop of the wrench hitting the 2x4 to ease it out.
Don't use a good 2x4 that you value it will be thrashed.
It worked for whoever posted it originally, and for me, so at least twice. But peined like yours could be a challenge.Ahh I see. I can't imagine that working but it must have at least once for someone. I'll give it a shot when I get time, thanks.
No constructive advise, but wishing you luck and am hoping you will let us know how you get it apart please,I can see where the thumb wheel axl is pinged in. It doesn't have a slot for a screwdriver. There is no access from the other side to drive the axl our.
