I haven't been to your site in a while and haven't been getting any notifications of your new post either. That was a nice car show you had at your Vintage garage. Do you know of anyone on your side of the country that has any trim pieces for Bowser 585 gas pumps? I need one trim piece that run vertical on the doors that appear to be like a flush handle that looks like a sphere on both ends?

Sorry I don't. Honestly don't see many of those pumps around here. Might check with Gas Pump Heaven and see if they reproduce it.

Been working on a little office project the last few months. I've posted on my social media pages about it, but wanted to complete it before posting on here. For quite a while I have wanted to expand the west side of the office and open both sides up to each other. Back in November I finally decided it was time. The west side is now 10'x17' which is very close to the original office footprint. I left it 3' short so I could have a space to put a couple gas pumps on the service bay side. Fair warning this is going to be pic heavy

On the inside I put in new ceiling and floor tile and gave it a fresh coat of paint.

And then the move started.., I spent the better part of two weeks setting everything up. I'm pretty happy with it.

Help my memory out if you don't mind. You finished the 50's Ford, but weren't you also working on a pickup? How's that going? Or am I remembering wrong?

Nope your memory serves you well. I've been tinkering with a '51 F1 for awhile. While we were on strike this fall at JD, I was able to spend some time on it. We did get it fired and the 289 broke in. It has moved under its own power (drove it outside for a few pics). I hope to finish it up over the next few months.

No wonder I can't find any Sinclair stuff to buy. its all here. And a very nice place to display it.
You can still find some if you go far enough south...! This is on Craigslist in Orlando today

And a diesel globe from another: https://tampa.craigslist.org/psc/atq/d/elfers-gas-pump-globe/7432343429.html
A porcelain sign with the pole but they are pretty proud of it... https://orlando.craigslist.org/atq/d/vero-beach-sinclair-sign-pole/7419618608.html
Lastly a Sinclair "Super Flame" kerosene tank: https://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/for/d/clearwater-tank-kerosene-oil-metering/7433135359.html

Good Hunting.

Joe, I wish there was more "destination stuff" out your way.
I sure would like to take a Roadtrip to Perry, just to have a photo op at the station but need a lot more to see along the way.
Corn stalks get old after 60 miles....LOL!
Just an amazing job you keep doing.
Always improving and rearranging to show the collection.
Curious to see the storage area and all the stuff you cannot present...you keep running out of space!
Love the engine in the truck....and to see the truck finished is gonna be sweet!

Joe--I've just completed reading your thread--it took about three days and like so many before me, I'm so impressed with your modesty, your attention to detail and the many skills you continue to demonstrate in the transformation of your station and vehicles. Perry has a community oriented citizen, Clarence and Bob have a great boss and Dino has a caring owner.

You said that your building has a soul and you've certainly given Perry and us on GJ a window into it--and it makes me wonder if you've ever thought about giving Dino a window into his soul by painting realistic eyes on him. In the video of the lady who dresses her Dino up for all occasions I saw her Dino had eyes and it really brought him to life.

Thanks for sharing your journey and I look forward to as many future updates as you have time for.

I still catch the OP on Facebook so he is out there, he is now a Mustanger too!

Ya know, several things cause people to stop posting on forums that have strict policies. I can only hope in the future, the OP will feel the forum is once again, worth his time and effort.

It's not about him, it's all about us, dammit!
We are entitled to frequent updates. :ROFLMAO:

Still alive....just really cut back on screen time. Nothing really new around the station...just little things here and there. I still post regularly on Instagram so if you'd like see what's up that's the best place

IG: UngerBodyWorks or Perry Oil Service Station.
