I have a DeVilBiss single phase 40 gallon compressor. This item was built in 1969 and looks and runs great. No oil leaks, clean, etc. It is mounted on dolley with casters. I had this unit hard wired but you can put a cord on it. You can hear run. Needs pressure regulator, and hose ****** attachment. Has a newer GE motor on it rated at 1/2 hp. It will accept a stronger motor, I just happened to have this one already. Price is cheap for something that will last forever. This unit is made of what I think is cast iron, It is very heavy. A 220 volt conversion is as simple as putting on a new motor.
This is the info provided from the seller, have not looked at it yet. I know nothing about compressors so I need some good solid advice. Prolly not looking to run a blaster so that's not an issue. Is it a roll of the dice as far as a rusted tank goes, if you can't see it? Thanks in advance.
