I'm a big fan of running the hydraulic (stainless) lines under the concrete floor as I did this for my Mohawk lift. I had the lines set before the concrete floor was poured. That being said, if you have an attic above your 11' ceilings, you could simply run the hydraulic lines through the ceiling, across the rafters and then back down to the other column. This is way easier than running them in the concrete. On the Mohawk, you can shorten or extend the SS hydraulic lines however you want. For those lifts that have cables running between columns, your options are limited.
