I really like your Texaco garage addition. What a great way to store some of your collectibles!

Hey Bob
Nice old cart. I have one too (an old harley) It is sitting out in the weeds. It has a top and it is just sitting on the cart loose. Watching you restore yours may cause me to bring mine in for some tlc. Did you take any before shots of the cart??

Bob,No, not another new project!!!
Yep, I did it again. The new project disease and FB Marketplace got me again this week. I found this pretty cool old school Harley-Davidson 3 wheel golf cart. I’ve always wanted one of these for some strange reason. It’s a gas powered cart from 1965 with a 250cc 2-stroke engine. One other strange feature is how it goes in reverse. To start the motor when you press the gas pedal it has a combo generator/starter motor that belt drives to the motor. So for reverse you stop let the motor shut off, flip an electric switch that reverses polarity to the starter, press the gas and it spins the motor in reverse direction and starts it. Crazy for sure but interesting.
The motor has compression and spins freely so I’m hoping I can get it running again and not have to find a replacement. First task was to clean it up a bit as I hate working on greasy, nasty, dirty vehicles if I can help it. Sprayed the chassis and motor good with Easy Off oven cleaner and the body with Simple Green and then hit it all over with the pressure washer. Made a good improvement.
Now to see if there’s life in the old buggy yet.

Looks like a nice trick. Reminds me of the trucks with full air ride that raise the bed floor to clear the notch. You did say that you're going to add "wings" in all 4 corners? That'll be real nice for hauling. How hard will it be to take the whole thing out if you want to haul rocks, or gravel, or something?

Bob,Tailgate Solution!
You paint a flag on it of course! ]

My first ever attempt at painting a multi color graphic and I’m happy with the result.

Bob,
Excellent idea!
Looks great!![]()
I'm kind of disappointed that you put a Predator in the golf cart, instead of 600 or 750 bike motor.![]()

Bob,
Looks like a great time at Speed Week.
That's on my bucket list.
Thanks for the pictures.
That's crazy about the plane.
Safe travels my friend.
Bob, I think that next year you need to take Jon and I with you. We'll help pay for gas. Seriously, very cool pics. Thanks for letting us tag along.

Thanks for those rmalkow2, ever since I was in my single digits (long long ago) I've loved the look of Moon Discs.
