Looks to be a gamble as reviews are all over the spectrum. Ebay has similar units for $8-14 range with the cheaper having USB Type A connectors instead of the USB Micro-B which is used on most Android phones.

Plus side with Amazon is they had easy returns when I last used them a few years ago.

Only thing about it is it seem like the wire is not very rigid. Just though is was cheap enough if anyone wanted to try it..

It works great, resolution is pretty good, and the adjustable LED lights on the camera head is a nice feature. It does have the "limp noodle" cable, but that can easily be fixed with a piece of wire and some zip ties.

These all seem like a big roll of the dice regardless of what they say the pixels are, most are either 320x240 or 640x480 what sane people call the latter is 0.3mp. The pixel claim is usually whatever the software will output, not what the sensor can capture.

Something is still a lot better than nothing.

I do recall one Amazon USA seller around $40 that seemed like they really had a 2mp sensor camera, but took another swing on a $12 ebay claiming the same. LOTS of delay right now from China, so 3 weeks and still waiting on that one.

Not all Android devices support USB OTG (on the go), and some do support it, but not with much power on the usb so some devices won't work.

Once this gets sorted out it will be great, but its not there yet.

I don't understand all those numbers, but here a couple screenshots, the logo on the front of one of my TV's, and an HDMI cable inside the wall.

The biggest problem is holding the limp noodle steady with one hand while you take the picture with the other.

Info is embedded in the image, your's say 639x479, which is essentially vga or svga 640x480 .3mp, its the typical of all the low end usb cams. Most cell phones now have about 30x more pixels. My cell phone display is 1920x1200, but I doubt any remotely cheaper devices will do that.

I'm thinking of taking a cheap, but ok quality inspection mirror and replacing the mirror with a clip to hold the camera leaving the gymbal section so it can be positioned anyway I like.
