If you want to post a better deal than what currently posted, it wouldn't hurt to share how/why you got it lower.
I replaced all of my USA Craftsman sockets with these. I'm storing the Craftsman for now, I hated having mismatched sets, and hated paying $8 a socket on Ebay whenever I broke one. Now I don't need to be concerned about breaking them. I already needed a 24mm though, and this set does not include one![]()
Only $5.97 at home depot for a 24mm to finish out the set. Look at the bright side $2.00 cheaper than craftsman. And you do not have to wait on it to get there![]()
Hi Dodge, I have a deep metric 24 impact, but didn't have clearance in my transmission fill plug for a deep socket to fit. HD does not offer a shallow 24mm!

Sort of bored so looked around summit racing has the 24mm shallow for $4.49 ea but its 1/2in. drive and on backorder for a couple weeks![]()
I ran into this myself a few weeks ago when I was changing rear diff fluid. I went to grab the new chrome 24mm I was sure I had, and that's when I discovered that this set didn't come with one. I spent the $5.97 to buy the 24mm deep - I can't really complain though, since I scored this set when they went on clearance last year for $25...I replaced all of my USA Craftsman sockets with these. Sort of PSA...
well for those who got the box... make sure you count them asap...
I bought that 200 piece last night right before they are about to close, whopping $59
box is sealed, re-taped by them.. long story short... I decided to count them this morning.... and it's missing 22 pieces (1 bag of 1/4 deep sockets).... it's a lot to count but at least check them if the bag is open, make sure you match them.. also I got some WTF bags different from the description on the box... but anyways... still missing that 22 piece...
still great deal, just a pisser knowing it's incomplete set...
as far as quality... seems like a great set, never know until you actually used them... the finish is consistence on the outside.... the inside some of them are not consistence, if you care that much about it.
No It doesn't looks like I can dent it like those youtube "professionals" did on the HF Icon sets... unless I really try with the press or BFH... so......
Can a 15/16th work? That's 23.8mm vs 24.
That ***** you should be able to take it in the store and they will do right for you i have never had a problem. There new add even says take it to the store you dont even need the reciept.![]()
My store had 8 or 9 of these when the price dropped to $59. I just bought the last one. I don't need them, for $59 I couldn't say no.

Check online. They still show $59.00 for me:

They don't even bother to change the price tag at the isle... it still shows $99 at the local HD here, but when you rang it up, it is $59.

Just got the "we can't find them" phone call.. Guess I didn't need them..
It will show $79 at stores that don't have stock, $59 at stores with stock high enough to show quantities online.

This: Miami FL 3030 SW 8 St. "Calle Ocho"
Clerks couldn't locate them where the stocking software said they were. As I went to exit, at the front of the store, next-to and in-front of the checkout lanes were Husky tool displays, toolboxes, benchtop tools, toolsets, and, yes, a pallet of the 200 pc. sockets.
I picked-up a set about 2 weeks-ago.
I purchased a set of these Home Depot sockets (200 pieces) before Thanksgiving, after seeing posts on the set on GJ. They have dropped the set price below what I paid. The store will refund me the difference between what I paid then, and the price now, which is a double-sawbuck. It's worth the trip to Home Depot, just produce your original receipt, or your electronic receipt from your purchase. You do hit the button at checkout, "email me a copy of the receipt," don't you?
"Show me the money!"
I got a $20+ refund.
