I work for an engineering firm as a plumbing designer/draftsman. I'm a hobby wrencher, I've got most everything I need, I appreciate old tools, not like Ford Model T wrenches, something I can use, used is fine, made in USA pieces or quality stuff.
This is a list of ideas of stuff I'd like:
1. Deep metric 3/8" 6pt or 12pt, deep metric 1/4" 6pt or 12pt. Armstrong, Blackhawk, Bonney, Craftsman, Duro-Indestro, Herbrand, old Husky, early Kobalt, Plomb, Proto, Thorson, Vlchek, Williams, Wright and of course, any tool truck brands. Just quality, of course old metric sockets will be harder to find. Doesn't have to be a complete set, I have one set of 6pt 1/4" late model Kobalt and a mid depth 6pt 1/2" set, I have short 1/4" & 3/8".
2. Gearwrench non reversible ratcheting wrenches 5/8's & up, 8,9,11,15,16,17,19 - these are my missing ones, whatever fills a hole, used is fine as long as it works and isn't too beat up/abused.
3. This is a little tougher. I have a Longlife Phillips #2 screwdriver, part # 42-216. It is painted like a Craftsman, in fact, for years I thought it WAS a Craftsman, it's my go to #2 Phillips, tip is still nice and I got it used from ??? I wouldn't mind having some more.
4. 24" or longer 1/2" breaker bar, the handle part should be forked, not the part the socket goes on. I've had a Chinese one that broke at the forked part the socket goes on, which is why I don't want that kind.
5. Any Peterson , made in DeWitt Nebraska Vise Grips, especially welding ones.
