Anvils have a harem too? Lol
Holy pile of anvils!!!![]()
Thanks for the information on the handle. I'll do some research and figure out what I'm gonna do about a new handle. The box is rough so it's probably a strip and redo. There are no badges so I'm not thinking it's a Craftsman.
Jim

What are the craftsman bearing block things next to the jacks?
Lots of good stuff in that haul!
Ok so heres my haul for the day. Mostly junk.
I'd hardly call that haul junk.
Those specialty crimping tools cost a fortune new. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with what that stuff will bring. You even have a Panduit tie wrap gun back there.
You ****!!

Dang Hemi, you hit them hard!! Must have had 4 extra hands carrying all that out![]()
Oh man...so much Bell System goodness!! The orange handled crimpers are for b-wire connectors (splices). The blue pliers may be for coax connectors. I have a similar Bell System staple gun made by Heller. Unfortunately, the staples for it are made of unobtanium!
If you want to get rid of any of the Bell stuff, let me know!!
Hemifalcon, awesome haul! I like the Craftsman oval label items in the last picture, I think those are the bearing stands for a jackshaft system.
And I knew Jeff Moss would be all over the Bell stuff!
great haul hemi.
i had one of those stewart warner RPM gauges in the orig box.
like a dummy i sold or traded it a few years ago. oh,well.

JazRedGT, I am interested in the tie wrap gun, the crimping tool on the lower right last photo, 1 of the heat guns and a few other misc. items. Will send you a pm after this post.
Well I guess I **** at realizing my **** potential! LoL Would you mind helping me trying to price some of the items? I can send better more specific pictures.
Okay.. Here's my haul from a pretty decent estate sale which I visited two separate days this past weekend. If you've seen my other posts--you all know I'm cheap.. But--my cheap'ness was entertained so well at the sale that I didn't even try to make an offer the prices were so good. The only problem--I picked up BS ticket on my car for not having plate on it while parked along the street.. It was on the 31st.. Someone had to meet their quota it appeared..
Nice haul Hemifalcon. Was this the sale in Des Plains? My wife went, but it was too far for me to get to work on time after.
I picked up a Morgan 140 vise, Dexter knife steel, and a Foredom Sb-ECT-1 with No. 10 handpiece for $50.00 total.

Yeah.. It was in Des Plaines--both days I was rushing to get back home in time for work.. And aside from the BS parking ticket--it was worth it!
I like those winged clamps.

I see a lot of new monikers on here. Welcome!
I also see a lot of suckage happening, most recently hemifalcon and JazRedGT. Good time to learn the fine art of wire wrapping, JazRed.
Went to a warehouse sale down the street from work yesterday. These two guys usually hold it on the weekend but got so much stuff in they postponed till Wed. They go down to Seattle and hit the storage auctions and bring it back to Blaine. One of the guys was telling me that this haul belonged to a drug dealer that got busted. Lots of great stuff but a little pricey. Here's the lowdown on the days finds:
Crossman 130 $5.00 (Sweet!)
Power Master 760 w/ Bushnell scope $5.00-same model and place I bought the last one.
Schrade Old Timer 770T carbon pocket knife-$free gift as a repeat customer.
Allen and Torx sets $1.00
Odd Aluminum box $1.00
Toshiba Laptop and boxed Win XP Pro $8.00-Worth it for the XP disk & key to me. (Still not a fan of 7).
Still need to post last weekends pickings.
