Sometimes you take the chance and it pays off, sometimes it doesn't.
Hit a yard sale today that advertised tools. I got there late, and most all the good stuff was either gone, or had sold tags on it. I spotted a grinder table that had some stuck drawers in it. Asked about the price, the guy said $25 for everything in and on the table. I had a $20 and he took it.
The grinder on the right was included, the grinder on the left was mine already.
Well used grinder, but a cheapie.
It's a home made table, welded with wood and sheet metal bits. I'd hoped there was good stuff in the drawers, but nope.
Got half a coffee can full of scrap metal, broken bits and random nuts and screws. The only 'tool' was a 3/8" ratchet extension, unbranded.
the drawers are bent and riveted thin sheetmetal, and they are beat to hell.
So, at the end of the day, I've got a big cart for my little grinder, and drawers I can't use. And it's that nasty shade of crimson as well... clashes with the orange and blue theme.
Got these for free though, a little sanding, a little stain and a little paint, and I think I can find a place.
