Old flourescent magnifier lamp. Heavy as hell and built like a tank. $1
It is a Luxo Lamp corp. LUXO brand. Tag says Port Chester NY.G_P,
Nice score on the lamp [emoji106]. I have had my eyes peeled for one of those. Those would come in handy for my increasingly tired eyes.
Would you happen to know the brand and whether it is US made?

No problem! I happened to be in the shop next to the lamp and got a notification on my phone that you quoted my post.G_P, That was quick !
Thanks for the info and once again nice score on the lamp [emoji481]
Been slow around these parts for tools. If you want glassware, holiday decorations and kids clothes and the likes well it has been good for those folks I guess.
Been really scrounging of late but some meager findings over the last 3 weekends.
1949 KR Wilson Tool catalog. Not a score though at $25 but it is local and I collect that stuff.

Never saw a little hammered finish Craftsman box like this before. It's a little rough and needs some sanding, paint, and a new decal. It only measures ~11" across and 3" high. I figured for 8 bits it was worth it.

Last week I stopped at a garage sale, and looked through some boxes that were there but nothing jumped out at me. I put them back and the guy says $30 for all three. I found another empty one and said I've got $28 and he said yes.
Two crown-top craftsman and two other craftsman boxes.
-Proto
-Plomb
-craftsman files,sockets
-crescent
Some good stuff and some not so good. The boxes alone were worth the money.
Haven't been posting in a while but I've still been shopping.
Thought I posted this but can't find it. I got a Union Tool Chest co. machinist box full of tools. $40 It's missing the door but in decent shape. some good usa stuff and some Chinese ****.
