Thanks! There is a label in the center of the handle that says 6? so I guess that one is a 65 in/lb wrench.

1/2" Powr-Kraft ratchet, Vulcan B-52 ratchet, same as a Williams, tiny 1/4" Wright ratchet and unknown German 90 degree cutter that says "for plastic only"
Would the "German 90 degree cutter" be for security ties? Does it look like it would work to tighten them?

I have cherished a Hazet or Hory tool caddy since I first saw one posted on GJ.
I happened on a tool sale a few blocks from my home and found this jewel.
Couldn't believe it when the guy told me he wanted $20 for it. He said he has had it for around 65 years.
Awesomeness!
Gave him $5 for the USA thread dressing kit as well.
Some TLC and the Hory Company Ltd. Caddy will be good for another 65 years.

Two pick ups this weekend.
One was this cool made in USA Napa truck. Metal.
The other was this tape measure, lufkin 50' with the crank handle.
Both pieces were $5 each.
A bit over priced but the truck was too cool to pass and the tape measure was just like one my grandpa always carried around.
Guy had A lot of sk sockets and other misc tools but he wanted too much money for them.

Yesterday was an auction pick up day and a beautiful day to take a ride to the load out point. In this auction I was mainly after one particular item but picked up a couple other things.
A Craftsman drill driver set for $1, a battery charger and battery tender together for $1, a 1/2 HP Duracraft bench grinder for $10 and my first Wilton bullet vise and the table its attached to. The table already has a buyer waiting and the vise will end up costing me $95 which I don't think is too bad. I've been hunting a Wilton for a long time at any reasonable price.
And then my good friend surprised me with a couple freebies in the form of a carb adjusting tool and a Wera screwdriver. I always love free stuff.

Went to the regionally famous Hartville Marketplace & Flea Market this afternoon and got the following:
Foley Belsaw locksmith course book, tools, assorted parts $8
Oil can and screwdrivers $3
Padlocks $10
Afterwards I walked through the MASSIVE Hartville Hardware where I picked up a logo'ed pocket screwdriver for my collection

Here's the only thing I found this Wednesday at the flea market.....
A tiny copper oil spout can....
Now, I know some of us like things with original patina and some of us like shiney things....It was all I could do not to wire brush this thing up nice and shiney like a new penny, BUT I just washed the dirt off with soap and water and left the patina
I put a quarter int the picture for size reference....it's also what I paid for it!
I had a real GOOD day Friday and today.....(more) pics to come.....

The guy I bought it from was quite the auto buff. He was a Mopar guy but had a '70 corvette in his main garage and a 70's Dodge Coronet under his post and beam carport which I watched him put up many years ago. Got a pic or two of the carport as well.
Looks like there was plenty of suckage to around today.

Big garage sale weekend so I tried some random stops around town. First stop and only one thing of interest. T small 2 inch Schrade Old Timer pocket knife. It will need cleaning and sharpening but I was able to talk it down from $5 to $3.
Three other stops and nothing but household stuff and a bunch of ratty car parts that were basically scrap.
I finally hit the local Habitat store and found this group. A couple snips, Stanley chisel, small Powerjkraft pliers, Hargrave clamp and one DOE wrench. $3.71 for everything.

Here is my haul from Friday....
....John, a guy I work with, found a Friday yard sale on craigslist that was close by so, we ask the lady who owns the shop to watch things while we went to check it out....
....Now, John is into books and I was there for the tools!
When we got there (about noon?) there was no one around so we looked at what was in the yard, then I went and knocked on the door....guy came to the door still in his pajamas I told him what we were looking for and he opened the garage door....pointed to where the tools were, and then him and John went into the house to look at books.
All alone in the garage, I found a large rubbermaid tote and commenced to filling it up!
This was all I could find....
Gary (the homeowner) came back out to see what I'd rounded up. I asked how much for what I had and he said "make me and offer" (WRONG thing to say to me)
I offered $10....he countered with $20....we settled on $18
John got several (12-15) books for $20.....some collectible, first edition, rare, etc. (not into books but he said he did good)
Gary was a character.....we stayed and talked with him and his wife till about 2:30-3 o'clock.....they were retired and are preparing to move to Charleston....the yard sale was to get rid of as much stuff before they moved.
John and I were more than happy to rid them of some of their "stuff"
I went back there today and got some more goodies.....Pics to follow...

Came away with these.....
Husqvarna 350 - 20" bar - full case - protective headgear
Stihl MS180C Mini Boss - 13" bar - chain cover
Both run great and are in like new shape.....even though they're dirty as ****, all the plastic and labels are in fine condition....they have been used very little.
I drove away $125 poorer, but with a big smile on my face knowing I helped Gary and his wife get rid of some more of their stuff!!

Atlas 5010 10" disc/4" by 37 1/2" belt sander, all there, on original Atlas stand and I think the motor is Atlas too. Didn't work, got it home and played with it and it now runs with a bit of vibration. Nice piece with the dust guards intact.
Desmond dressing wheel for bench grinder, very light use in the box with instructions.
Lathe steady rest, apparently South Bend, 4 1/2" from bed mount to center meaning this is for a 9" lathe right? Only markings are 125N1 and 126NR1. I don't have a lathe so this will go on the for sale pile.
McGill MFG trouble light, the outer cage is brass or copper, the inner cage probably held a glass dome making this an explosion proof light.
One of my favorites, Ajax folding drill index.

articulating lamp - $2, need to build a mount
Milwaukee 3/8" hammer drill - $20 - new brushes and operates just as it should - no reverse and i've never seen one like this before - guessing from the '70's
just couldn't talk the fella down on anything - he used to run a import bike shop here in town, known him for 30+ years

I've got a "dividing wall" of a Home brew 4' wide "bookcase" shelf unit, and two steel office book cases back to back, with yet a third book case as an end unit. My DP and a Roller backs up to it. Too nIce a find to not use!

Whenever someone says "make me an offer", depending on the situation, I may very much lowball it. If they are just trying to get it out the door it's amazing the deals to be had. Then there are the people that want new price for **** or damaged goods that will require work to make useful....
Other times you don't wan't to over-offer, but you also don't want to "make their day" with too high an offer. I almost NEVER make my top dollar figure as an initial offer... (But there have been times I made my best counteroffer, and it's "take it or leave it" time...

I had one of those back around the 6th-7th grade and well before I finished HS I broke the back main nut over-tightening it. The threaded part just popped out of the plate (cheap casting). I eventually tossed it not having had any luck with repairs, (no, epoxy did NOT work... This was well before any machine tools of welding...)
They are handy little vises. One day I'l run across a decent one for a fair price and buy back a bit of my childhood...
Also, WOW on that Hardware store! And all that Wright goodness!

this guy today had a no name import vise, from NAPA I think, no Handle or nothing, wanting $20.00 for it. he is going to be carrying it for a while.
I might give $5.00
there was some nice motors, 1 HP, said to be rebuilt, looked new, guy wanter $40.00.
I didn't have the $$ on me, almost went to the bank and went back, but I passed.
Thats pretty good today for a 1 hp. 56 frame, 1750 rpm
