Local flea market just opened up last weekend. This morning the fog/wet weather put a damper on things....only had about 5 vendors set up. I grabbed this Kennedy...paid the 15 he was asking. Really good shape. Looks like it was probably used as an electrical box.

I planned on going to a YS this morning, but 15min after the advertised opening, they still hadn't set up. They said to give them another 15min. 20min later they only had their tables out. I passed and went to the flea market instead.

Not much luck. There was one vender with lots of SnapOn, but it was all marked at top dollar. Screwdrivers were marked at $10 - $30 each. I only found one item worth buying. It was one of the cheapest tools on the table. A #TR107 valve core tool for $5.

Been on a roll this weekend! Found this on CL last night, guy was asking $125, I picked it up for $70

Does anyone know if I can get replacement latches from snap on, it's being held closed with just that carabiner.

Model is KRP825

I haven't seen one of those in years! We converted most of our B-52 flightline boxes to these.

I made a quick stop today to the sale from yesterday and found a few more items

Porter cable dovetail jig
Cast iron pail
Tumico micrometer
BF Goodrich rivet tool
Awesome looking P&C pry bar. This was buried in a corner that took some digging to pull out but it was worth it!
Air co torch
Magic wire stripper tool
Owatonna socket

Honestly 3bay, I don't even know! Every place I stopped today had tools! I know I paid $25 for the Cornwell box, paid $200 for an SK stack (in the vintage boxes thread). $35 for the Williams set and the grail speeder (same place), $35 for the sweet NOS SO 1/4" drive set, $30 for the Parker vise, and the rest?...............couple bucks here, couple bucks there...

You **** Warmpancakes! That's a nice genny!

x 2

Thanks..I even commented how nice a box it was before he told me the price.

Picked these up at a sale this afternoon while running an errand. Paid 10 for both. The power washer is an oldie and only 1250 psi...but good enough for what I wanted it for.

Is the handle on that speeder ratchet blue or black ?
Most of the ones I've seen have a blue handle. I've never seen the black handle in person, just in a picture or two.

It's black. Not sure you can see it in the pic but there is a "nick" toward the top of the handle, just under the ridge. It appears to be blue underneath.

BC yours is a duplicator; I have had this one for a couple of decades at least; I thought you and Jeff would be interested. It was bought at a Flea market back then, so just late getting it posted! :lol_hitti:

It is setup for 4 key blanks, and you rotate the key holder on the head for which one. It is setup for Hurd Yale, Yale Jr, and B&S.

I got bored today,so I went through some inherited stuff I've had stored at my grandpas basement shop for 16+ yrs, and took it home.
I have some distant relatives renting the home, but I keep the shop door locked since I still have lots of grandpa's stuff there.

I hit two Estate Sales yesterday one close to home and one was the same sale I went to Friday afternoon.

Most tools at the first stop were not worth the time but I did find three items if interest. This vintage 1920's Millers Falls Model 130 Automobile jack. Unfortunately its missing the top piece and the handle, $5.
Screw Jack 1.jpgScrew Jack 2.jpg

A really nice older Hawthorne skip tooth mens bicycle. It will be my next bicycle project to create a board track style bike. $20
Skip Tooth Bike.jpg

Not pictured, yet another steel bed frame that gets added to my spare steel pile.

The second stop was to an ES I had previously visited on Friday and while most of the good stuff was picked over by Saturday afternoon I ended up with these items for a grand total of $5.25. An unfinished gun stock, a couple 20" 3/8 tension rods and a neat little Made in Germany drill index.

Fleet of Canada wrench, Mac wrench and Vulcan 1/4" drive extension. All obtained from the estate sale at a hoarders house full off tools, toys, stereo/record stuff. Never seen anything like it. The house and garages got to be tear downs, almost felt like I was going to go through the floor into the basement. I really could have used my hard hat, steel toes, leather gloves, etc. and I am not kidding. I couldn't believe my somewhat germaphobe girlfriend went places in that house that I wouldn't go. Guess the lure of a potential golden nugget was that strong for her

Close up of the Fleet/Canada wrench. I have never seen one so picked it up.

Picked up at a few other sales, Xcelite of Orchard Park NY Pliers and a Vulcan wrench. I always look for the locally made stuff if in good condition.
