I picked this up last weekend. 1" diameter with 1" shaft, 11" long. I appreciate any leads on where I might be able to sell this item.

Small Lista cabinet for $20:

Would it be possible for you to take a picture of the sliding mechanism under the pull out tray? I've been looking for something like that.

Well, I think DNG ***** a bit today!

Thanks. I was surprised at some of my other finds as well. At the sale where I picked up this stuff up, they even offered me a belt sander setup that I don't have the space for. It's on a bench, with the motor mounted underneath. Free if I take it away, but I'm not willing to give up the space in my garage for it, hopefully they don't scrap it.

Went out to get gas and to stop at 2 yard sales. First one was the score!

It was a "clear Grampa's garage" Estate sale...

I left a LOT, but these were the best:

Milwaukee 4-1/2 mini Grinder, an SK 1/4 drive set mising at least the extension, but mostly complete, a Proto 3/8 drive Torque wrench - 80 lbft and rust pitted Fence pliers.

attachment.php

5 Imperial Ratcheting box wrenches. I had 2, and these added no dupes! :bounce: all I need to complete the set to 15/16 is the 1/2 & 7/8! 3 Blackhawk and 1 SK tubing wrenches 5 Protos

attachment.php

SO combos, the only PROTO exp gear I've ever seen. in 1/4" drive 2 Plvmb wrenches, a Stanley tack puller, Diamalloy Hose clamp pliers, Craftsman ign adn a 1/4" RHFT, Bonney "S" wrench, and a Lectrolite starter and Manifod obstruction wrench.

attachment.php

and I carried most of these away in a WWI Ammo can. I like these better than the common WWII to date type, and you can lever the thing open or closed almost silently. the latch has a slot for a lock loop, and that is easily made with a small U bolt... This one needs striped repainted and a new gasket.

Oh yeah, $15 all :D

you guys are just knocking this out of the park - t4runner, attaboy for being decent to the seller. dng, $40 for your pile has me envious.

I simply gotta quit opening this thread.

I went to a few local ES/GS events yesterday.

The only item of note was a pair of Peterson 7-R Vice Grips for $1.00. They are currently clamped to the front passenger window regulator holding the window closed in Bob (the 2000 Buick Century) until replacement parts arrive this week.

I ordered new regulators for both the driver and passenger side doors - this is the second regulator out of 4 I will be replacing - so just planning ahead.

While I will have the door panels off I ordered new door speakers to replace the crappy OEM speakers in place. If I'm doing the door speakers I might as well replace the package tray speakers too!

Bob will be rocking once I'm done - I replaced the head unit several months ago.

Cheers

Went to an estate sale yesterday. Bought eight electric motors for 3 dollars each and the gearbox was free. Not sure how many of the motors work, but at 3 dollars each, I can scrap the ones that don't and still come out ahead.

I told myself that I wasn't going to go to the flea market today because I've already spent too much money lately. I was going to stay home and take care of the "to do" list that I've been avoiding. I was doing good, until I got a call from my grandmother saying that her car wouldn't start. She wanted me to go over and help her out. I did (she left her lights on and killed the battery). When I was done, I told myself that I was driving straight home, but my truck had other plans and I ended up in the parking lot of the local flea market instead.

Since it would be impolite to just leave, I got out of the truck and started to wander around. It was almost noon, and all the vendors were packing up, so I thought it would be safe. Wrong.

Near the end of my stroll, I came across a dangerous vender as he was packing his truck up to leave. He specializes in old industrial iron (lathe stands, bench legs, carts, etc.). Right out front - there it was - Kryptonite. I should have made a phone call to the suicide hotline to have someone talk me off the ledge, but no. Instead I opened my mouth and asked "how much ?". He says $125 (a good price, but too much for my wallet). At this point I thought I was safe, but then my tongue twitched and I heard my voice say "how 'bout $100 ?" (doable, but still not good). He says no [THANK GOODNESS]. At this point my tunnel vision is starting to clear and I can walk away. And then - the ******* who just bought a lathe stand off the guy pipes in and says the fatal words to the seller - "If you don't sell it to him for $100, you're just going to have to carry it back into your truck.". I'M DOOMED !

Bottom line - The seller agrees, and I can't back out. So, for a Benny, I picked up a Reed 3C 5" combo vise to add to the growing pile. (I blame my grandmother for making me leave the house.) :D

Oh - and for $4 at another table I picked up a 5" c-clamp.

I went out for a Freecycle PU (mini Chandelier for SWMBO; no pic) And hit up a mini Block sale.

$10 for a Millwaukee Hole Shooter, 0-650 RPM's 1/2" chuck

attachment.php

And 2 bucks for this Igloo Cool Cruiser - It needed a cord the old one was damaged but I dug in my cord box and low and behold, I had one that fit the jack! Works perfect. this one is much larger than my other 12V coolers which none of them will hold much more than a six pack. this is about the size of a Coleman Oscar.

Best deal I think I've ever found, AMP 601075 Roto Crimper, $7.00
Ebay price is anywhere from $600-$1000.

601075_rota-crimp.jpg

I make and sell battery and winch cables so it's being put to use. I had been using a hammer crimper.

I went back to the sale I was at yesterday and continued to find things it was like the never ending horn of plenty. The arbor is an Atlas #0, SK, Snap On Matco, The box is a KRA 59G it needs some slides and a paint job but otherwise in good shape. He said if I wanted the box I had to take the bottom section also I couldn't find any info on that one. I ended up paying $200 for everything.

I've got an older one that holds about a six pack. The plastic hinge broke, but it still works. Mine stays in my Jeep all year and I use it constantly. Now you got me wanting a newer/bigger one. :willy_nil Nice snag...

I stopped a random sale and it wasn't looking good. The garage was open and I asked if anything in there was for sale. Not much as he already threw a lot of stuff away, he inherited the house.
I spied the Bulldog and was checking it out and it obviously meant nothing to him. He then tells me if I can unbolt it and save him the trouble take if for $5 :shocking:
And you might as well take it he said or I will be throwing it out and the work bench to make room in here. I couldn't stand the thought of him throwing it out and accepted his offer If I had the room I would have taken the bench also. I did not expect to find a Prentiss bulldog for $5 today.
