Top, try opening an incognito window (Some browsers may cal it a "private window") and logging into GJ from there. this will bypass all cookies and browser history giving you a clean start.

If that works you will need to clear your browser history and cookies to get GJ to work in your normal browser window.

Couldn't find a tool worth buying at the flea.


Also went to a lame estate sale.
Got a cast iron pan free from some nice ladies working there. Wish I took a before picture, was completely full of rust sitting in the basement sink. The old lady working said "You mean someone can clean that?". I said I'll try. Mostly wiped right out with a crumpled newspaper.

Have to see if my buddy wants it. He makes the pans real pretty.

I cleaned up the Stanley #4 and it came out very clean and shiny. Still de-rusting the iron, BTW, look at the difference before and after on the lever cap. I used hot soapy water, then polished with Peek. Great product! (they should pay me for this endorsement)

Third is the SQUANGLE . Never seen or heard of such a thing but after reading the directions it's really very cool. !

Forth, inside this well built carpenter box... I can't ever seem to leave one of these behind...

Fifth, A very nice metal handle saw," Hi-Low" Safety . Without a doubt the heaviest built hack saw I've ever owned.

Sixth, does this make my neck look red? They were in season this weekend!

Few more. The American Red Seal vise is in great condition and for 20 bucks I couldn't be happier!
The two hatchets , one is a true temper hewing hatchet . The other is unmarked. I seen the handle and thought "CASE" but I don't think it's marked.....

The Ram Bench grinder is in tip TOP shape, 1/2 horse. And the long "C" Craftsman table saw miter is super clean.

Yep General Plane Blade and Chisel Sharpener I picked up a later version like new in the box a few weeks ago.

I didn't go to any sales this weekend as I've been cleaning the garage and selling tools.

Fixing to play tetris in my garage and wanted to get rid of the excess before I begin!!!

I went back to an estate sale this morning (last day) and the grinder and vise were still there. They were priced to high yesterday but today was much better. Got the vise and grinder for $15 each and the rest of the items were $10. The Reed 104 1/2 will need a new knob on the handle. I am happy with the grinder, runs so smooth and has great power for a 1/4HP.

Weather finally broke around here, hit the flea market and picked up these to round out a logo matching set... $30

Went to a local picker's place today to see what he had new and found three items I can use right away.
The gas pump nozzle and hose fits perfect to a late 60's - early 70's pump I just bought and will restore this summer. It's a perfect fit.
The Swivelier lamp is exactly what I wanted over my garage work bench and has a base plate just made to attach to the wall above the bench. The shade has a ball swivel built in hence the name. And it was already re-wired and ready to go.
The license plate he tossed in for free to add to my collection of states.

I went back to 1/2 price day to get a break from cutting brush from a quarter mile of fence row. Amazing how much stuff sold the first day . I did manage to find a few things that were buried in mountains of stuff. Also scored from the house a few items as well. $127.00 today. The big expense was 100 bucks for a hand made leather native American art piece made by Jason Youngbuck. There were several of these in the place all marked 200.00 the first day but none sold. I told myself if any were left I was getting one or all!. One was all I was able to get . An elderly lady asked me if she could the other one that was left so I gave her one of her choice. I'm not sure there value yet but I'm sure it's well over a 100 bucks.

An old 3 drawer file cabinet from the Pearl Brewing Company-This thing weighs a ton! In the bottom was some really old photos and keepsakes from as far back as the late 1800's. I'm gona look up the family and see if I can reunite them. Amazing cool stuff.

Dropped the wife off at the airport Sat., and gave myself the weekend to flea market!
Sats finds:

Some Walden sockets to finish off a set, wich is nice, some Proto and prewar Plomb 1/4", Herbrand, a nice vintage machine light and a Plomb feeler gauge. Got the Elector Cyclopedia today, and what is that everything is sitting on?

Then hit a couple swaps today, and totally struck out. Ended up going to a recycler/**** store on the way home (Urban Ore if you are in the bay) normally they don't have much and being in Berkeley they usually aren't cheap. But I saw this on the to be put out cart and just grabbed it. Needs a new cord, but it works and everything is there! $50.

You are correct. It has the rocket on the grip. I'll post a better photo of it tomorrow. Are they hard to find with the logo?

Early one's have it on the grip. later were just a sticker. You may look for a patent on it as well.

They were asking $50 when I was there Saturday morning. The house is a tear down after the sale and she wanted everything gone today and said $15.

Don't dish on Urban Ore. They usually have a nice selection of lockers and office storage cabinets. Plus they have a bunch of cats roaming the warehouse. Nothing better than that.
