That's a good price for just the nailer. Throw in the other stuff, including a vintage tool rack, and now you're on the border of Yousucksburg. Well done!

I've been trying to be good and sell off a lot of what I have before loading back up... but spotted this on Wallapop and jumped on it.

I've slowly been building that set of wrenches (had 4 or so), so getting them all in one shot, with 3 small vise's and a coffee can of screwdrivers for $40, I couldn't say no. This set looks like new!

Stopped over to local flea market and fellow who runs it, pointed out a few old tools he had picked up to sell me.

Pics 1-4 Stearns hollow auger cutter for bit brace. Patent 1872.

Checked for patent number and found #130826 issued to George N. Stearns on 8/27/1872.

Pics 5-7 Stanley Rosewood Marking Gauge. Patent Oct 22, 1872. Looks like a #77 model.

So I stopped by the local pawnshop today and found this for $95 out the door (tax included) because it had Dewalt labeled batteries instead of Mac labeled batteries. It's a Mac BRS038 12V lithium ratchet. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1456264943.420132.jpg

It's been a few weeks since my local ReStore had anything worthwhile, but this week has been great!

First up in a group of sockets, screwdrivers, and small wrenches. Everything here was .50/ea. Total spent: $14.00

Pic 2: Misc Chinese made 3/4 drive sockets.
Pic 3: Vaco multi-size nut driver, Ward's 1/2" nut drive, Craftsman and P&C screwdrivers.
Pics 4 & 5: Williams, Craftsman, New Britain, Snap-on, SK, Proto, Indestro, P&C, and John Deere 1/2 drive sockets, Stanley #1 Phillips screwdriver
Pic 6: Fleet tappet wrench, Tru-test combo and DOE wrenches, Hazet wrench

Same one I picked up a few days ago. Thought it was cool that the dewalt batteries switch out with it and they will charge on a dewalt charger

Next up is a couple of toolboxes I purchased. First one is a Kennedy K-32 carpenter's box I got at ReStore for $10.

The second tool box I know nothing about other than the what the maker's label says: "Duplex" "Sherman, New York". It's really big and heavy - I can't imagine filling it with tools and trying to carry it. It kind of reminds me of the boxes the sports medicine people used to carry supplies to my football games in HS. Other than the added hasp, it's in excellent condition. The original hasps are rusty, but functional. Perhaps the hand-written numbers on top of the box are significant?

Paid $15.95 at Goodwill.

Final purchase is an unknown make and model top chest I got off CL. This chest is ridiculously heavy. It's pretty beat-up and if it has any maker's marks, they are covered by all the decals. Paid $30.

That almost looks like a craftsman but there are some minor difference that is telling me it's not.

Here is my Craigslist haul from last nite.

Grandpa's old toolbox from Texas.

Mostly Plomb. SK 1/2" ratchet, Plomb 3/8" one (taken apart for de-greasing). Plomb breaker, extensions, etc. Not pictured is the approximately 25 Plomb sockets, plus a few odd balls. 2 of the screw drivers are Plomb, as well as 2-4 of the chisels. Need to get the crappy paint off all the stuff next. Not sure what the box is. The whole works smelled of fresh paint when I picked it up.

From a couple of stops this past week.

Dremel 3000 kit, Bernzomatic hose torch, c-clamps by Williams, Wilton, Armstrong and others, SK 3/8 ratchet, Snap-on 3" wobble extension, Heller BPH, New Britain puller and no-name nut splitter.

I gave a fair price for the Dremel kit and $2 for the hose torch, everything else was $1 per item.

Looks like a Remline, maybe. For $30 it doesn't matter!

Picked this up for $10. Plumb axe head, unused and this very different Eclipse saw. Not many here but some in the UK.

Picked up a couple of small anvils from an on-line auction. The white one - 8 1/2", 8 lb - the rusty one - 8", 6.5 lb. $10.80

Then from an estate sale - a cigar box - I love to find these with small tools

The best of the tools

The Craftsman knife is especially nice and the brass one is USA made also - both are keepers.

Total - $16.80 - I'm a Happy camper!

I've got to stop looking at sales I know I can't get to. :(

For any of you guys in the Worcester/I90 (Ashland) area, you might want to get out early for this one.

http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/gms/5461934809.html

In the fifth picture of the listing, on the right side, between the guy's legs (stop those thoughts you dirty bastards), you can see that he's sporting some very large wrenches.

I can't tell the brand on my tablet, but they look like they have a beefy/roundish handle. They could be early Williams Superrenches with the raised cast print, rather than stamped. But then again, they could just as well be imports. :dunno:
Either way, I hope they go to someone that can use them, instead of a flipper.

Estate sale today on the east side of town in Roseville. I was #14 in the door and I got there plenty early in the midst of a snow storm. Lucky for me I was the third guy in line, all the rest were women there for the girl-stuff. Managed to get quite a bit of the tools here. A lot were several piece lots that was able to build into sets from what I had in stock. The Hub puller is an OTC, There’s a 3/8dr Snap-on 12pt chrome SAE and a 6pt metric impact socket sets. There’s a 1/2dr Snap-on chrome SAE universal set and a partial 3./8dr metric set. Was able to piece together a Snap-on and Mac 12pt combination wrench set. Also a Proto square handle 12pt line wrench set. A ratchet, some extensions and assortment of sockets. I think that oddball piece is a panel bender, put a breaker bar onit and slip it over a piece to bend it. Might be wrong, if anyone else knows let me know.

I think that sale is a flipper. At least thats what it seems like since they seem to have multiples of a lot of stuff. Could be a collector though. The bench grinders look nice and so does that drawer cabinet next to the square lanterns.
