S-K 1/4 ratchet at a one day sale in Minneapolis. They had a Craftsman tool chest for 250, the tools inside were $1.

Go ahead and take a pic of your new ratchet while going 60 mph...

Found this old belt driven General bench grinder with stand on CL for $30. The tool rests are made of 1/2" steel. It is driven by an ancient 1/4 HP motor that at some point I would like to upgrade.

At the end of a recent moving sale, I grabbed a few hand tools. I asked how much, they said just take them. They were real grimy, but so far cleaned up great.

- Utica 3 diamond duck bill pliers.
- made in Sheffield England linesman pliers.
- W German made (Gen_tec?) needle nose pliers.
- Craftsman marking gauge.
- Starrett 4" square (I love this little square).
- and 2 B&S 12" rules still soaking in rust remover, we'll see on those.

I never have found a sale yet that gives away tools in any condition. I think they would rather donate them then give them away around here.

I've got an extended warranty on it, so it's going back where I bought it. I've had a ton of electrical issues, glad I got the warranty.

get yourself the SK 3/8 drive ratchet in the 1/4" body. you won't regret it. (the repair kit will drop right in a spare 1/4 drive ratchet)

Kit is #45173-2

I'm sorry, this is my first post here. I've turned wrenches for a living for the last 12 years and have yet to come across a truck with an "electrical problem" where the Tach is Stuck at 1500, the Speedo stuck at 60, and the Gear Indicator stuck in Drive. Please be safe out there and think of others.

To the rest of you and the OP, Great Finds!! I need to garage sale more!!!

Craftsman 1/4 ratchet, screw and bolt gauge made in Minneapolis, Crescent folding t handle screwdriver, indestro DBE 25/32 and 3/4, indestro hammer, and pexto hammer. There were some pexto screwdrivers with the same paint scheme as the hammer, kind of neat.

It reminds me off generic multi tools that don't hold up. If I sold stuff on eBay I would've bought it

The small ball pein is an indestro? I have one, it was my first tool. I earned when I was around 3 years old hanging out at a shop my pops worked at. His coworker said I could keep the hammer if I hit the polish guy in the nuts. I didn't know any better and wanted the hammer.

They are some of the best old anvils. I should have just paid the 20 but i only had 15$ cash on me. I didnt want to leave it and come back, because there was a gentleman in the store that was looking at it right before I snagged it, and they wont hold anything

I bid on, and won, a box of old tools from an on-line auction. This is the item I really wanted because of the knuckle cap.

What didn't show up in the pictures was a broken side - bummer.

However, this scale was also included

But the weight came from these - not your regular set of wrenches - L-R:

1. Marked only with a W inside a diamond

2. Bonney #1041 - 1 5/8" and 1 7/16"

3. Bonney #1810 - 1 5/8"

4. Armstrong - 1 1/2"

5. Williams - 1 1/4"

6. Hinsdale - 1 1/16"

7. Bonney - #1242 - 1 5/16"

8. Armstrong - 464

Long toool in front - marked Herbrand
