Lots of smalls this week cabinet scraper, perfect handle screwdriver

Brian

Red Vise:

Especially like the cabinet scrapers.

Wonder who the Mfg on them were.

Like you, I like the Perfect handle screwdrivers. One's I'm missing and seen only once in the wild, were a set of very small perfect handle ones that were only a couple inches or so long.

Been away from the forum for a while. Hit a flea market this morning and found a couple things but my best was this Kennedy 520 in practically new condition for $25

Most of the ones I see are beat, rusted and broken for 3x that price

Also picked up the 8" crescent adjustable wrench and small vise grip for $1 ea

Mike the long handle scraper has a Stanley Sweetheart blade in it but the handle has what might be a Handyman logo ??
It looks like a Stanley No. 70 Box Scraper but doesnt have the Stanley name embossed in the metal.
Check out the scraper (?) with the rounded bowl, not sure what that is.
I threw in a Starrett scraper as it was sitting out.
And here are a couple of small Perfect Handle screwdrivers.

RedVise:

Thks for add'l pics on the scrapers.

I started out seeing a nice collection of Perfect Handle screwdrivers and started buying my own afterwards.

They definitely work for me and help with filling those slotted old screws much better.

I picked this up with some other smalls this weekend. Anyone know what it is or any background on vacuum oil or gargoyle.

Picked up this gorgeous 15 drawer Lista box this morning for $300. Excellent condition, barely used. Tons of dividers. Looks like it was used in a older cellphone warehouse, lots of razor phone parts. Will add this one to the Vidmar boxes that I already have.
Thought it was funny, the lady wrote in the ad "weighs about 150lbs". Yea right. I knew they weighed a lot, this one was every bit of 700lbs. About killed ourselves loading this in back of the truck. Didn't help that the lady had carpet in her garage to slip on.

I picked up a Craftsman table saw model 113.298240 for $100 off of CL. The top is a little rusty but a scotch brite pad will take care of it. I know the fences and miter gauges are crappy on those but it will work for what I want to do with it. I can always upgrade the those later. I'll get a link belt for it and it should be pretty decent for a wood butcher like me. I'll post some pics when I get it out of the truck. Damn thing is pretty heavy!!!

PC: 150 pounds to some people is just the same as 700 cause they can't lift either. without a scale i thought my old Lincoln torpedo welders weighed a lot and since i can move 500 pounds i figured a bit more, but didn't think they weighed 1200 pounds. it's sort of the same i think.

Waggoneer: i think i recall you buying a few other cool Lista or similar type boxes last year or was that just cool tool boxes? in any case nice find AGAIN.

ALL: a few small items i picked up last weekend. slim pickens but a few gems. i also picked up this 12x12 timber that might weigh 300 pounds that might become a nice vise stand in my back yard.

Look great,

Thank you. Funny thing is, I sold one of the small blue lista boxes at 6:30 this morning for $350. Left and bought the giant 15 drawer lista for $300. Still have the other blue lista for sale.

Thank you Drivesitfar. I looked it up and it actually weighs 850lbs. Probably another 150lbs in just dividers in the thing.

Yes sir, I have 3 other Stanley Vidmar boxes, which were easier to load.

I paid around $200 a piece for those, so maybe I overpaid for this lista [emoji6]

You didn't overpay, you just stole those two:lol_hitti.
I have the exact same blue Vidmar, same drawer layout and paid much more.

Just curious, what blue is that on your Lista?

Well not a Lista, but I got this parts cabinet setup for $50. Loaded with machine screws/bolts.

Not sure, someone spray painted them before me, can tell from the overspray on the slides.
I love that baby blue of my Vidmar. Wish they all were that color. The inside of the drawers are that color as well, instead of the standard grey.

Looks like it was a good weekend for cabinets! I picked up the following from an estate sale this past weekend, heavy as heck. It comes apart in 5 sections. I'm guessing it's from the 1940's

Only day I'll be able to look at sales this weekend. Found my first proto/plomb. The stapler works great. $3 well spent.

DNGR: you probably should have waited for half price day cause you might have over paid. :lol_hitti

seriously cool looking cabinet and do you have the dimensions? also what is the handle for on the bottom? any chance a couple pictures with the drawers open maybe here or on the metal cabinet thread where it surely would be a nice addition?

Have you ever come across any double ended adjustables? My heart skips a beat or two when I see them.
