If the teardrop ratchet will be available by then, I wonder if the SK round head drop-in dual-pawl kit for older ratchets will be available as well.

Now that is a fine looking ratchet!!!

Gone seems to be the green direction switch and the smooth handle from the prototype.

The handle seems very interesting to me. There's a little something for everyone, smooth, knurled, flared at the end. Mighty Fine!!!

The green selector was the selling point for me....

I love the handle. Wow. Don't see any part numbers or made in USA engraved into it. Wonder why? Also wonder why they laser etched the SK logo in the bottom pic but engraved it in the top one.

For the first time in forever I'm actually in need of a socket set. So, I'm hoping I can score a deal on a 3/8 drive, standard, deep well six point socket set.

I passed on the 3/8 drive set in the classic metal case last year, but if the new ratchet is offered in the same set this year I am in. Even better would be to include both standard and deep six point sockets in the set.

OBTW: The Wright Tool t-shirts were great! I have had several people ask where they could get one of those "Wrench" shirts.

I will most likely be in for a 90 tooth ratchet and a set of X frames in metric, plus a couple closeout bits no doubt, order won't be near the size of previous orders however, just don't need as much new stuff at the moment.

When we get in the actual ratchets I'll post some pics. Should be able to get them in before July 4th. Excited to hold one in my hand and check 'em out. I'll ask about the ratchet replacement kits and see if they're planning to offer them as well.

Does anybody have any idea on the pricing on those ratchets?

Epstein's box art is a great way of getting spousal support on these purchases. My kids loved the box last year.

Who knows?
Nice. I liked the ratchet before...I like it even more now that the green is gone from the selector. I might pick one of these and a breaker bar up.

Anyone have size specs on them purty ratchets? I'm really interested if the price is reasonable.

I'd be in for a new ratchet. Possibly even a regular ole SK ratchet, plus some sockets. I'm in for a good Epstein day and some free stuff and good deals

Use the HJE shopping cart on the website to set up your order in advance, then on the 4th take a quick drive to find a hotspot where you can complete the order.

If I end up at camp this year, I'll need to drive into town and use the Wifi at the bar to do my order.
Tools and a beer, worth the drive.

Thank you sir, I had forgotten that lengths were posted on that thread. If those are correct I will likely be taking a hard look at the 11" non-flex 3/8, as well as both flex and standard versions of the 1/2 dr. Personally, I like the handle design, reminds me a little of my favorite 1/2 dr ratchet: a Snap-on 71-15 that my great uncle gave me. The additional bands of knurling would be welcome for the added grip, and the overall handle shape should be as well.

You know, we're not super sticklers for the cut off time of July 4th, so if there are any stragglers that come in on the 5th, that's fine with us. :)

What is the absolute drop dead deadline? I'll be in Brunswick, Georgia around that time and there's wifi/cell service where I'll be but just in case. Thanks

The only thing about placing an Epstein's Day order a day or so late is that we might run out of t-shirts/other freebies. July 4th is a Tuesday, so I would say absolute cut off would be that Friday. That should give you guys a large enough window to place an order if you don't have a computer readily available.

Awesome website, just put an order in. I missed the section to comment to let them know I heard about them on GJ and request the box art. Will put a small order together for Epstein's day too. Hopefully I can find the comment section that time to let em know I found out about their store here.
