So here's the official post for Epstein's Day with all the rules/promotions. Hopefully the moderator will put it at the beginning of the thread so everyone is sure to see it.

Rules:

(1) Place your order on July 4th (Tuesday). We go by central time here. We are extending the deadline to get your order in by Friday of that week. (Note: Promotional items are limited, so if you really want a t-shirt, it pays to stay up late and get your order in early.)

(2) In the comments section let us know it's an Epstein's Day order by writing, "Epstein's Day!" or something like that. If you pay with PayPal, you'll have to send us an email ([email protected]) as those orders don't allow for a comment to be attached. Also, if you qualify, be sure to include your shirt size.

Promotions:

- Wright Tool -

All Wright sets will be 5% off. If you buy $75 worth of Wright stuff we're gonna throw in their 2 in 1 screwdriver (#9181)

- SK Tool -

All SK sets will be 5% off. If you buy $100 worth of SK stuff you'll get the specially designed Epstein's Day T-shirt. (We're still working on the design, so I'll post a photo of it when it's available.)

- Norseman -

We're going to offer their new cryogenic drill bit set for $99.95. This is a terrific deal as we've been selling them really well at $140.00 for the last couple months.

We're also offering their 4 pc Step Drill Bit Set for $99.95 as well. Normally sell it for $136.00.

HJE

For orders over $75 we're going to throw in a #90198 USA Barclay bar.

We also reserve the right to throw in some strange and unusual item for anyone that participates.

And like always, thank you guys for making this happen. It's a really big deal for us to have this kind of support from a community like this. Hope everyone has a great Epstein's Day, and also a happy 4th. :)

Just like previous events, this isn't about deals or freebies. HJE has been generous in its efforts to get special pricing from their suppliers and surprise gifts, but the goal of this event is for us to support them, as well as to offer support to brands that still manufacture in the US. That's why July 4th is the chosen date (give or take a few days for stragglers).

U.S.A. tools on U.S.A.'s birthday.
(although, you are certainly free to add items from any manufacturer to your order)

'Nuff Said.
(I'll step off my soapbox for now, but reserve the right to drag it out of the woodshed again if needed)

Thank you, Jori and the team at HJE, for making this happen for another year.

I've found the thumbwheel ratchets to be helpful when working on small engines. Once the nut/bolt is loose, they make backing off easy. The action on them is smooth as well.

Pry-bars are always handy.

If you do not already have a 3/8 drive ratchet in a 1/4 body consider the SK 45173. It has come in handy in tight locations as has the thumb wheel ratchet Jake referenced. I also have the Wright 3/8 drive compact flex head ratchet (3440) which also has been used more often than I thought it would.

I noticed the dual 80s you can hold the selector... on the sk it will free wheel as you ratchet... not a big deal but not good either, dual 80 does nothing so you can hold the selector hard left or right as you ratchet...

I was thinking of a step drill set, but not that familiar with them... what's the difference in the multiple bits in the 4pc set?

Had the privilege to walk down over my lunch to grab one of the new SK ratchets. Always a pleasure to visit this store. So much inventory.

Just wish my wallet was a bit thicker to accommodate all my "wants".

Working on it. We had lots of spam coming in from a Chinese website so we had to put up a captcha to stop all the fraudulent requests. Hopefully we'll get it fixed today.

Not to worry, just means a slight delay (dependent on SK's inventory) in shipping the order. BTDT.

It will be the same thing for any special orders from Wright.
