My find of the day isn't super impressive, but it does have a story. I was in Eugene,OR, for a meeting today. I pulled in, as usual, tucking my Toyota Tundra in a too-tight space between a BMW and a Mercedes and proceed upstairs for the next four hours of meetings. I come back to my truck around noon, easily finding my truck in the line of luxury cars. Sitting behind my truck is a black handled screwdriver. Traces of blue paint on it. A quick examination reveals it to be a Snap-On (I hear they make ok stuff). I take another look around, notice that the BMW has been replaced by a Tesla. The only other 4wheel drive for three rows is a newer x5. No idea where this little guy came from. I guess I am now one of those guys who can claim that 'tools just kind of find me'. 68ffbd7548e6a5ff6b7ccec8299a8127.jpg

Hey swing, just so you know, I mean I hope I'm not being too forward, but your pics might be a teensy bit larger than necessary.

I hate to 'press' the subject, but if you can 'swing' it consider making them smaller next time

First stop today was free stuff. Everything in house and sheds. I did better than some sales. Highlights include Companion vise and the Craftsman dbe to remove it from the bench. Snap on 3/8 hex key. Blackhawk 3/8 ratchet. Handscrew, wooden block plane and a few levels. The bucket has a couple of dozen jigsaw blades. The hatchet is a Belknap "Blue grass" d8f5ca6fef3102185230aaa5c3820536.jpg

Next stop was a CL buy. I went to get a Skilsaw 8 1/4" but I also picked up a Rockwell 8 1/4 and 30 odd feet of service entry cable. c1cf9902b4e8560c27a3db2713fcae1c.jpg

Final stop was HF where I picked up a set of adjustable reamers and a box of nitrile gloves from the clearance shelf. And I got to use an additional 20% coupon.

Man, I'm gone out of town for a week and you guys find some killer stuff as always.

I was out in the sticks with one bar of signal... The one day we go to town and as we are driving around from store to store I see a garage sale sign! Unfortunately my friend turned down the idea as we had a lot to do and were burning daylight... :(

I did get a package in the mail while I was gone, haven't opened it up yet but it will hopefully be a good one. :)

So this is what came while I was out of town... Looks like it was never used, just really dusty! Bought off eBay, so technically not a garage sale find, but the seller was missing one important keyword so I feel like I got a good deal for $35 shipped. :)

You sure get a lot of use out of your trailer Waggoner! LOL...

M_George - Sure, I'll scan it this afternoon for ya.

That is one of the few things that I bought brand new, but it has made me a lot of money. It has held up great. I bent one of my fenders recently from a culvert slamming on it which made me sad. Oh well.
