Had to go to lowes so I figured I would check out the last day of an estate sale close by there. At first I was going to go when they opened at noon, but got busy and ended up going around 2pm...
First I went to the garage, it was pretty barren. Just found the knee pad (which I could have used working in my garden these past couple days) and the short hose with sprinkler head. I know I needed a short hose for something but couldn't remember what, so I grabbed it just because it was so cheap.
Walked around house nothing to noteworthy. Then I found some stairs leading downstairs! Walked down to a home-office, looked enticing... Turned my head looked out an open door and saw a small shop!
Being the last day and they were already starting to wrap things up the place was picked over pretty clean (so I thought). Saw the Bernzomatic box for using LP/MAPP & Oxy, even had a striker & goggles. Found some rods that I think are brass or copper, spool of aluminum wire, so I threw those in the box. Saw another LP head and grabbed it too... Nice little tack hammer... wire brush sitting on the counter, didn't even realize it was a craftsman till I got home. Thin, fine sharpening stone. JP Danielson pliers (from the 40's I believe), USA adjustable square, Craftsman tap holder and a generic USA one. Oh, looked down on the ground and I saw the sockets in the holder, checked them out and they are Metric CMan =V=

Dovetail saw & yellow funnel just because. Needed to fix a little hole in my sheetrock and I saw the repair kit so I grabbed that

Since my box was overflowing I saw a big dented old coffee can in the corner of the work bench, I grabbed it and saw some sockets and stuff in it... Craftsman, Proto, Wera, Snap-On, Cornwell, and Companion USA.
Finally I saw the companion USA wood vise mounted on the work bench. No screwdriver in sight! Didn't want to walk all the way back to my truck so I made do with stuff around the shop. Thankfully there was also a cheap socket set so I could get the lag bolts out.
Could barely hold all the stuff I had and made it up the stairs to check out. Most of the things didn't even have prices on them, majority were just $1, highest price was the $9 torch set. Guy sitting there asks what all I had and he kind of looks through the box... "How does $10 sound?"... I told him sounds good to me.
