Ordered the only one available near me. Still haven't gotten an order confirmation. Has anyone else had this issue? Normally I get them right after I place an order.

FYI i checked Sat. and the $4 price was still up in Clay NY (used for price comparison) and as of this morning inventory was gone and price reset to $99 on brickseek.

ANyone have a zip that beats $30 as the lowest price? Haven't found any better

It is the weekend, with the usual flood of shoppers on Saturday & Sunday, any person walking around the tools section could have seen them on clearance.

Another good day to top off a very good week.9-Pack Dimensional Wood Panel Wall Tile 761824. I paid $52.00 for over $2000.00 worth of material. Lowes description makes it sound like it's ceramic and a wood look. It is actually wood.
Checked random states...not much out there. Maybe "It's Friday" could quote stores that have it. Here is the link..

The NWS made Irwin diagonal cutters had a clearance tag on them again. I'd say keep an eye on these b/c last time they clearanced them out I grabbed a couple pairs for less than $10 each.

I bought one of these a few months ago and I done get the hype. They're well made, and I get compound, but they barely open up big enough to get anything in you'd need compound action for!

Got a call from our local (rural) hospital for some strong cutters. Someone put a 1/0 fishing hook through their arm. The Irwins did the trick! Cut the stainless hook no problem. They are now a staple of our local emergency room.

I've used mine for 16d nails, and .150" spring wire that needed to be shortened. I am pretty sure I couldn't have done either without the compound action.

Right, the picture was specifically for the Kohler kits, but the link is for Husqvarna. I think I found the Kohler kit on the Lowes website.

Yeah, I'm not saying the compound action is bad... but where I would use it I still grab my Knipex mini bolt cutters with notch, or even the cheap Crescent compounds which are not nearly as well-made.

on clearance? link??

I spent $16 on oil, air filter and spark plug for my Kohler XT-6 recently, but would buy a few kits if on clearance and do the service more often.

Thanks

I struck out on the dremel deal, but I came across a great deal on Kreg jigs tonight.

The Kreg DIYKIT sold by Lowes is very cheap at some stores.

As low as ~$15 for 3 Kreg jigs/tools!

All made in USA.

This kit includes 3 different Kreg items:

1. Kreg R3 pocket hole jig - $40

2. Kreg 5mm shelf pin jig - $35

3. Kreg Rip-Cut - $30

The regular price for the kit ($80 - $90) is already less than the cost of the individual items (about $105). This was a steal for me at about $20. Feel free to brag about the price at your local store :)

Any chance you can post a receipt pic? I thought I lucked out and found one tonight. It wasn't in the inventory though so it reverted to full price $79. I left it there and might try and price match. Thanks for the post.

Impact 3/8" drive sockets are on sale near me for $1.59-$1.99. Here is a link to the 5/16.
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-3-8-in-Drive-5-16-in-Shallow-Standard-SAE-Impact-Socket/3387460

I was able to get 5/16"-3/4" except for 1/2" for $12. I think I saw some metric ones on sale as well. A couple other stores around me have the 1/2" that I'll go pick up when I am near those stores.

Also some flex ratcheting wrenches are on sale. Picked up a 13/16" for ~$9.
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-13-16-in-Standard-SAE-Ratchet-Wrench/3387654

I already have the SAE and Metric sets of the wrenches so I'll fill them out a little since they seem to be on sale individually.

The wrenches have been on clearance for a year. I got 200 for like 20 cents each

Thanks for the heads up! The Kobalt tops are only $155 in my area... The ProSteel bottoms are $137 but none show up in stock. I *think* I saw one at my store the other week though so I might swing by this weekend to check it out and see... Maybe an employee snatched it up when the price dropped...

Code? I can't seem to find one and I am wanting to get a ladder today.

There is no code for 30% off. The sale price will appear in your cart when you checkout.

Unless you're referring to a $20 off $100 code? Then yes, there are one-time use codes for online use only. PM me if you need one.

someone just posted the dremel deal on SD. If you want the dremel nows the time to buy before all the SD people ransack lowes looking for it.

I noticed that, too. Stores are starting to empty out pretty quickly. Pretty unfortunate.

Looks like they open about the same as the Knipex. I think the Irwin's make a nicer cut.79f55ca0d49e0358c01f59ac2def2c71.jpg
