A few of my local stores restocked the 9.0Ah combos, well after Black Friday. I wouldnt be surprised to see them remain at full price for a while, at least in those stores.

FWIW the TOOL was the part hat was free, at least back then. You were paying for the battery and charger and getting a FUEL circ saw or recip saw for free.

If purchased with the $499 OneKey kit, the 9.0Ah combo ended up around 182 after the 200.00 promo credit.

I recently saw them restocked in my area also. Both the circ and recip saw kits. Still $249.

Seems like they decided to waste some money on a cardboard shipper this time. It definitely wouldn't have been smart to make that the first time, then reuse it. :headscrat

This. My store has 'em at the entrance to the lumber aisle where 2x's are. Not surprisingly, they're not moving LOL.

Honestly most consumers don't know what a good deal they are, even at $249. Most people don't know what 9.0 means and think Fuel is unique batteries and tools from "regular" M18

2nd that. I bought an extra kit for under $160 at xmas for the battery. Just sold the saw, charger, 5ah battery & a few blades for $250 yesterday...1 mile up the road from a HD.

Fastenal isn't the only place that has this deal - I just work part time there so this is the one I know about.

$100 instant rebate on a Milwaukee cordless tool (see flyer) when you turn in a competitors 14.4 volt or greater cordless tool with 2 batteries - working or not.

https://www.fastenal.com/content/documents/2017/02/MilwaukeeSpring.pdf

I believe it runs until the end of April.

what qualifies as a professional grade cordless tool ? is there a list of brands ?

I'm not seeing anything that jumps out at me as a great deal after the $100 on those kits. Cheaper if you buy at Home Depot, even before any discounts, on everything I saw. All trade-like suppliers seem to jack their prices up enough, that even with the promotions, it's not worthwhile to shop through them. Unless your "company" is paying for the tool, I'd say go to HD or eBay.

This.

I have a feeling they meant it at DeWalt, but what if I try to turn in my Ryobi 18V lithion?

So far our store hasn't sent anyone away because of a brand. We have taken Ryobi, Dewalt, Makita and so on. Someone at the store took in a 12 V before I brought up that the flyer says 14.4 volt. Take a tool to a place and see if they will take it is my guess.

Careful with that one. There's been a lot of these scam sites popping up lately using BigCommerce to make what at the surface looks like a legit site with just tempting enough prices just below everywhere else.

Every single one I've looked at the WhoIs Info on in the past couple months shows they are registering the domain through a service to hide their identity. They also just use random addresses in business parks or towers to make it hard to tell. One even used an abandoned house in Vegas.

Put a stop on your payment if you ordered and avoid sites that looks like a boilerplate template.

Paypal wouldn't do a stop payment. Long story short, I got my vacuum today. Brand new in box. Org. tape intact and serial number matches box. Indeed new! Works great!

Haven't been following this thread but my 1/4" cordless ratchet just crapped the bed after 4 years..Put a fresh battery in and she started smoking. It's well worn so I'm just going to replace it.

Any deals on these? Also be interested in the 3/8" cordless rat too.

Not still under warranty?

I know the 3/8 has 5 ft lbs more of torque (35) than the 1/4". Depending on what your working on & can get by with the 3/8", maybe that motor will hold up better for you.

Showing up as $259.00 for me but still ordered one! Thanks for posting. Was having issues with Toolup and HD previously but hopefully this will work as I've been trying to get this at a good price. Have the previous high-torque (non-Fuel) 1/2" Impact and it was/is amazing, so I expect this to be that much better :)

I wish they included the rubber boot with it in the kit though. They do good job of not advertising there is one available. It should be listed on the package at a minimum. How will they ever sell it, if no one knows? :dunno: (though im sure plenty in these parts do).

Ya, I know about it now, and a local national vendor (Great Lakes Power Tools) has it for $32 shipped on eBay. It just seems like a kit could actually be a kit, rather than just tool+batteries. I guess I don't know of any other accessories to include with the other tools, but seems like the boot could be included with this particular tool.

Not exactly the same, but the sawzall has replaceable rubber jacket, and that comes standard.

No complaints w HD online. I order a lot of Milwaukee there. I love the $45 threshold for free shipping. Get a boot and throw in something else to hit $45....

i prefer not to purchase on ebay, but I received 10% back on a purchase of a One-Key Sawzall for $160. So I have the bucks to use up, otherwise I'd buy from HD.

You said $80 shipped. Was it $79 w/ free shipping? I'm just want to make sure my mind is going crazy when I looked at it then.

Does the Fuel high torque impact wrench fit in the case with the boot on?

This is how I got mine. Great price with the 5.0 battery but I agree they are really overcharging for the silly boot and should include it in kits, perhaps not with bare tools. You really need the boot if you work on cars though so I of course bought one. Now I am mad they are taking forever to release the boot for the mid torque.

Yes, $79 with free shipping. I was warned the site screamed scam but Paypal made me wait. It went through and I've been using it since UPS dropped it off.

I think this is a pretty good deal at Toolbarn for $134.99 with free shipping. M18 Drill, Jobsite Backpack, Drill Bits, 1.5 ah Battery, and M18/M12 Charger. I think the backpack alone retails for $99. You could keep the parts you like and sell the rest and probably make out like a bandit.

I tried to order one but Toolbarn won't allow orders to go thru if the IP address is from over here in Saudi Arabia. Not even if I use PayPal. Doesn't matter that it's shipped to my stateside address.

I knew this from previous attempts but had to try again. Screw it, I'll be back home in 24 days.

Backpack is $69 in HD. was on sale before X-mas for $59. HD did have a combo of the backpack w/ brushless impact, battery/charger, set of bits for $149 for the Special Buy of the Day, then ended up that way for a few weeks.

get a VPN. i have the opposite problem. I'm using the VPN in the US, and forget that when I try to access bank or paypal accounts, and I get security warnings or lockouts. Sort of a good thing, but I have to disconnect so the sites see a USA ip.

Toolbarn won't even load the homepage through my connection to Sweden.

I've had several VPN'S in the last 18 months. The Saudis periodically find them and shut them down. Lost more than a few dollars to the VPN vs. Saudi Government wars. I've been shutdown 4 times myself. This is a different world here and the technology gains they've made in the last few months have been exponential. Nice to have their morality shoved down our throats.
