If your store's manager says all sales are final and that's written on the receipt like I posted all sales are final. Yet again people that are know-it-alls like to just pick Arguments for no reason have a good day

If you want me to be a complete *** like you are going to a store next time you're in there and ask him for their pamphlet on returns. It's as clear as day in there it's States clearance items are not able to be returned all sales are final. I don't have that pamphlet handy in my back pocket nor am I going to go waste my time to try and prove a point to somebody over the internet. I used to work for him and that's part of the employee handbook that 99% of the people don't read when they're hired but I 100% promise you that is the store policy on returns for clearance items. Whether or not the store does it is a different story but if it's done by the rules it will not be returned

Too funny. You said THE RECEIPT SAYS “ALL SALES ARE FINAL”. NONE of my many many HD receipts say that, the majority of which include clearance merchandise, so I asked if anyone had a receipt that said that. You showed a disclaimer that says no such thing. Then you proceed to get pissy with me because what you said was untrue. Employee handbooks, what managers say, company policy, it all has nothing to do with what’s actually on the receipt, which is all I asked about. I initially thought something had changed on their receipts, what you stated was simply incorrect. Yet your response is to insult me, like you’ve done to others in the Lowe’s thread. What a peach.

I picked up a couple of these cordless Ridgid compressors but none of my friends/family use Ridgid 18v tools. Anybody in DFW area interested in one? Shipping would probably kill the deal.

Well one person worked at HD, the other is annoying. I'll take the ex employee over the know it all. It's the constant bickering that caused me to stop posting deals. I waited awhile, came back and dropped some good ones, but I see nothing has changed.

Anyone have a receipt that says all sales are final? I’ve got a crapton (technical term) of HD receipts, from probably 30 different stores, and none say that. Maybe it started since my last purchase on Wednesday.

Policy is to accept clearance returns. If the policy was to NOT accept clearance returns, the 0 day return policy would print on the receipt.

And I do have a few receipts that say all sales final, but it came from a store that was relocating. Merchandise, fixtures, etc are not moved when a store closes, they liquidate.

My question, I found 5 larger Ryobi tool items in the overhead in millwork that are the only 5 listed in inventory, none on the floor. These items are clearance priced at $30 and were originally $60. I have been keeping an eye on them for a couple of weeks, I don't know how long they have been at $30 and there are other pallets nearby marked DNI. I'm wondering if they are just keeping them up there until they can send them back, since there is a newer, more expensive model on the floor. What are the chances these will drop to .06?

Thanks guys, for sharing those awesome deals! I bought a Husky rolling workbench last week to put the Milwaukee top on, that I scored last year. I haven't picked it up yet though. I would love to find that Milwaukee rolling workbench instead. On my way to HD during my lunch today!

Depends on the actual price... If the clearance price is .00 that means the store is controlling the clearance price. If the price ends in .06 that's only 25% off, I forgot what is 50% off, like .04? 75% off is .03 & .02...

Pallet location doesn't mean squat. It's wherever something will fit. The other's saying do not inventory don't really matter...

If it hasn't pennied, then it's a sellable item. If you want to buy all 5 (or even just 1), talk to the store manager and make a reasonable offer. They will probably be happy to get rid of them as sitting up there in the rafters it's only taking up space and eventually they will have to do something with them.

Thanks for the information Jason. I was surprised that an employee actually knew me by name when I went in this weekend, still haven't decided if that's a good thing or a bad thing, lol. I guess it's good for negotiating prices, but I really like flying under the radar!

I hope you find it, but do you think you'll be able to get it out the door for a penny?

My store showed 7 of those Dewalt Toughsystem 22in mobile tool boxes. They were listed as being located in the racetrack, but the racetrace was pretty bare. I was able to find a box containing two of them in the overhead, it was facing the wrong way so you couldn't see the SKU, I managed to get a partial view from the next isle over. I searched for a bit for more for the other 5, but it was a rare beautiful day in NE Ohio, and I was done spending it in Home Depot! I grabbed both, those are super nice for $18! The guys that got them down were jealous, lol.

Don't worry about it. That 1cent listing is erroneous. My HD had 4 of them showing a penny but they ring up at $598. I added a pic just because it's a nice teaser for what doesn't exist. Also look for the M18 planer, it's at $100 if you can find it..

A lot of times they will cut out the UPC on the boxes of the tool chests and slap on the current price with a new SKU... Same thing with the assembled in front, they just put a new tag/sku on it... You have to be very very lucky to find a penny tool chest.
