I hope they give you an extra-good deal for having to clean up their ****! If I were you, I'd bring some wet wipes to clean some of that off in the store, before further handling.

Several Klein hand tools moved to clearance but not yet discounted. 1/4, 5/16 & 7/16 nut drivers, 1/4" slotted demo driver, 'all purpose' pliers, hole saw & arbor.

Staples were a penny.

Trailer LED lights were a penny.

Razor blades were $2.53

They're very heavy duty. Going from memory I bet the wire size is 3/16" maybe bigger.

They are that price nationwide, in store only. The only stores that didn't have them that I went to were already picked over, but all had this deal.

I went to my 2 local HD's right after this was first posted. Neither had the single box in stock. They only had the complete tool box. They part number is different when they are supposed to be together. I did fine one in the overhead rafters but it had box 1 of 2 on it and the part number was different.

Tried to get someone to look it up for me in inventory but of course all they did was use the stupid HD .com website. It was almost as if they didn't know how to use the inventory PC on the counter.

I saw augers in the clearance section. Nothing of the others, yet.

One store keeps moving the augers like they have ADD. I got 3/4" and 1" ones when Lowes cleared out Greenlee, but if these Kleins drop lower I may grab them too.

The nut drivers and all purpose pliers all show no stock in any store around me, but they aren't penny or any discount yet I checked.

I suspect that you can use the in-store PCA to locate them.

If not, check a few display/floor models to see if their price tags indicate where additional inventory is being stored. If you're lucky, the tag will say something like "Aisle 16, Bay 16, Location 4" and, with continued luck, that's where they'll be. Beyond that, you just have to look for groups of large Milwaukee boxes up on high shelves.

HD online prices are full-price only, it's not like Lowes...

I went to my 2 local HD's right after this was first posted. Neither had the single box in stock. They only had the complete tool box. They part number is different when they are supposed to be together. I did fine one in the overhead rafters but it had box 1 of 2 on it and the part number was different.

Not every store has the tops by themselves. Mine never has, they only have a few of the full top/bottoms and they always have them in the front of the store assembled at full price. They never go on sale either, they just slap a new SKU tag on the display and keep them at $698...

Since this has been a recurring issue in this thread, I thought you all might like to know that it looks like Ryan has installed a fix for the forum software so future photo uploads from smartphones will show up in the intended orientation instead of sideways.
