Here they were in a cardboard display box in the aisle with the nail guns

My store also showed the 15 pc Sawzall blade set at $5.02, but none on hand. Something to keep an eye out for.

All $5.02...I got one of the 52 pc impact bit sets that was hanging on a little mid rail with the 40 piece kits.

20 piece Milwaukee shockwave bits, 20 on hand according to the PCA, couldn't find them. Must be in a box on a shelf somewhere.

I had the same experience at 2 stores. I found different kits located in lumber aisles, pro section, nail gun section, but none of these. Employees were very helpful in the search at both locations. The second location offered me a 50 piece kit for the clearance price

Those won't last long below $42.00 not many around. Husky 100 pack utility blades were $2.53 with a $7.98 sticker on the shelf.

Just found a leftover 7-1/4 m18 saw with 9.0 battery. Dude ran the numbers before he would bring it off the top shelf. Said it’s a penny I can’t sell it to you. I said can you talk to your manager and see what you can do. Came back with last clearance price of 63.03. I bought it

I found 4 of these today and they would not make me any offer. The asm I know was not working. Will try again in a.m.

I live in Chicago area and I haven't find any by my store's unless I'm just missing them.

Where in the Chicago area, may I ask? I'm in the western suburbs and haven't found any. I went to the Cicero location the other night to look for the Milwaukee Drill/Driver combo and they showed a $50 Husky 36" rolling tool chest in stock. I walked around with an employee and he even went up in the stock picker a few places, but we never found it.

You aren't missing them, there are NONE in the NW burbs, trust me. I actually got the last one in NW illinois as far as I can tell. With that said, found a new item to keep an eye on. If you find it, good for you!! And i call BS on some private forum. i've been contributing quite a bit and never got invited to anything. I stopped when I realized that people were just coming here to make a profit on my legwork.

Here is one though that I doubt anyone will find.. There is some of that tape by me I'll have to grab as I'm running low. Also another I found which I am unsure if it has been posted here.

That's because theres a heavy hitter in SC that's a member here. As soon as someone posted the deal here. He sent me pics of cartload after cartload of those things. He said he hit every store within 3.5 hours of him thanks to gj.

You're right I suppose, but I don't have the freedom in my day to day life to jet off to the store at a moment's notice. Seems like several people on here make this a part time job.

Some of us also know a week before the drop is going to occur for certain reasons, and have everyone lined up ahead of time. There are going to be certain regions of the country where people just arent going to get much....
A lot of the time I'm not even watching certain items, but when they hit here or SD on a clearance tag, those are the ones I use my sources to get the drop date from before it happens. Honestly I learned a long time ago loose lips sink ships. Once stuff hits SD, we have no one to blame but ourselves.

The super secret insider forums are impossible to get invited into. I was watching penny stuff 2 years before it opened up here, but now almost nothing is posted anymore, and little mentions of the "insiders club" get name dropped every so often. Legions of slickdeal morons getting in arguments over using the price check app made it worse.

Not really a problem for me, just trying to determine if it's worth the effort to pursue. No blame intended on whomever is super into deal hunting, I just am interested in other pursuits for my line of work.

My life isn't going to be negatively impacted by not being able to buy some power tools at a discount. But it would be nice if I could grab some stuff that I would be buying anyway. We are all here for the same reason, it's just worth more to some than others.

No worries either way. It definitely doesn't make sense for everyone to be in the know about things like this, otherwise it would be a rampage like lunatics on black Friday. I'm just looking to find out if I'm in an area where pros are going to grab it all, or if I have a hope of grabbing a useful tool for me to use at a good price.

I thought I found a Milwaukee deal in SC yesterday... it was an empty box..... oh well the search continues. I've been to about 10 stores in the NC and SC region and haven't found one yet. I did find one of the aluminum pipe wrenches hanging out in the clearance rack(still marked at .06 but it was actually voodoo) so I guess it wasn't a total waste
