I use them (usually a roll at a time) to temporarily hold large numbers of sparklers together. :spit:

I know some guys wrap around an outlet's side contacts before installing it in a box.

*always* do this. even if you are running the screws in and using the push-ins on the back.

Other than that, the only other time I see it used is a short piece around a wire nut.

if i am taking a bunch of tools somewhere (usually for some public service kind of thing) i wrap some tape around the tools in a specific location (bottom of the handle, usually). stays in place, easy to spot what is likely my tool in someone else's bag.

use colored tape to mark hoses/cables in engine compartments when i am working in them.

but the biggest use i see, likely ten times mine, is that it walks away. five kids, a wife, and two employees. . . . . .

[here i am, contributing to the chatting that is endemic on this thread. . . . . ]

What are you guys doing with a dozen rolls of electrical tape? Am I the only one that barely uses it? I know some guys wrap around an outlet's side contacts before installing it in a box. Other than that, the only other time I see it used is a short piece around a wire nut.

I guess I don't use it a ton, but I do know that is top of the line electrical tape. Not the cheap 5rolls in a pack stuff many end up buying. I remember buying my first roll of it, and realized how much better it was to anything previous I had used. I know I didn't let my brother use it, as he tends to use more than he needs on stuff that probably doesn't need it to begin with, so I tossed him the cheap rolls of vinyl (tape sometimes might be a stretch of a name as some are so bad)

Yea they offered a refund but I actually want and use this, all I want is a warranty fix lol

I would just take the refund and be grateful. Esp. With it saying general sku. Sometimes companies don't fix a lower cost item with their warranty, they just give refund. Happened to me with Sony camera in the past and I had correct receipt.

Really good if you need to change your bulbs in your garage door opener. These are the only ones that work in my genie opener.c74a902efffa0f8fbd772026be4d5588.jpg

I read about LED issues in the instructions when I installed mine, but I haven't had any issues with just a stanadard Slyvania LED in there.

Minwax wood stains and finishes are all 20-30% off in my 2 local stores. Was going to give a link but strangely I can't find minwax on the home depot webpage. I guess they dropped the brand.

Interesting? This is the only LED bulb that's works in my garage door opener? I mean, why else would they make a $10 bulb for it, right? And my opener requires 2 bulbs

Just a guess, it has a delay so as not to confuse daylight/motion sensing lamps and cause flickering.

One HD here in the OKC area had the M18 Fuel miter saw for $150.03, showed one in stock but it was no where to be found. Searched high and low for like 45 mins. Other HD nearby had around 4 or 5 in stock, but full-price ($599). I have been looking for a sliding miter now for a few months, just waiting for a good deal to pull the trigger. Would definitely buy the Milkwaukee at that price even though all my cordless tools are DeWalt. I don't *need" a cordless miter, but it sure would be nice! It's a shame DeWalt's only 20v miter is a 7 1/4", wish they had one in 10".

More likely it doesn't interfere with the remote garage door opener. Most LED bulbs cause interference with the 433 mhz GDOs and the door won't open or close when pressing the remote. It is also dependent on one or two bulb and front/back versus side mounted lights..

Hmmm didn't know that. Any idea if T8 LEDs in the building will interfere with garage door remote?

Nice thanks for posting, I wonder if LED tubes will work in these. I bought a bunch of them at Lowe's on the cheap to retrofit into my old fluorescent fixtures, but they won't work.
