Nice thanks for posting, I wonder if LED tubes will work in these. I bought a bunch of them at Lowe's on the cheap to retrofit into my old fluorescent fixtures, but they won't work.

Hmmm I assume you bought the Utilitek T8 LED bulbs. Were your fluoresant bulbs T8 also? I have quite a few 4 bulb T8 fluoresant fixtures and bought 4 of the 16 bulb packs. My understanding is, LED tubes will not work with magnetic ballasts they require electronic ballasts. All T8 fluoresant bulb use electronic ballasts. I don't know if the is true its just what I read. I wired one of my fixtures so I could test the bulbs. They work fine in the fixture I tried them in.

Yes, I purchased the Utilitek, bought a bunch for my dad's garage too. I know nothing about ballasts, but they turned on and then immediately went off in my dad's fixtures. In my fixtures they stayed on, but were like strobe lights. Might be fun to keep a few for halloween. I'm going to head to HD in a bit and see if mine has the fixtures on clearance. If so, I'll update if my LED's work in them.

Ridgid Table saw R4512 is on clearance. I checked surrounding stores, most 81088bee009122ce343345d21fbe3f3d.jpgof them still have full price.

Were the original bulbs the same diameter as the LEDs ?

Are you sure you don't have to remove the ballasts? Some of them you do and that's probably the bulb you want. If they flash then you have ones that require ballast removal. It should clearly state this in the instructions, if not also on the packaging. NOT ALL LEDS require ballast removal but you need to read the instructions to find out what you have.

That compressor is still 499 by me, just checked it last night as they were listing it as a discount but the price hasn't changed.

You could always try for this. Pic taken 2 weeks ago

The 60 gal on a “this item only” tag will never see that price of 123 because it’s a repair that the store had to take a hit on and is on a different sku /clearance schedule now

Hmmm didn't know that. Any idea if T8 LEDs in the building will interfere with garage door remote?

According to my tech contact at Phillips, it is normally the A19 and A21 bulbs. If your remote either has reduced range or doesnt work OUTSIDE of the garage (it works 100% of the time when parked below the opener).

And the funny part is that opening is usually not an issue (lights are off when you press the button from the street!) lol.

There is still electric tape to be found at the Picayune, MS HD if anyone is nearby, I grabbed 8 rolls today for a penny, and left probably 10 or so for the next guy.

Also picked up the Milwaukee M18 rocket lite with 5.0 battery and charger in the box for $149 in Foley, AL so there are still some of these out there, unfortunately it was the last one at that store.

I tried to find the tape at my store yesterday... Didn't see the 73' singles, but on another hanger on the opposite side of the isle, I saw some rolls that said "10% more" just imagine how excited I was to find some only to realize the 3 packs of black are not on clearance. Rang up as $9.** Darn...

If they're the utiliteks the ballast stays connected. Mine worked fine

DeWalt Miter Stand down to $60.
DeWalt parts organizer $0.01
Milwaukee M18 fuel 1/2” drill kit $60

Anyone know how long an item is typically at .00 pricing before it pennies out? Or perhaps how long after a lengthy period in which it does not sell in a particular store in which it is further reduced or pennies out?

PCA showed one DeWalt 1800 watt power station kit with batteries for $300, searched high and low. Employee said that the store last sold one in March, so 4 months ago. Just curious if it will further reduce or not.

Yeah, I did that too. I didn’t expect it to be a penny, but it was worth a shot.

.00 Pricing is (from what I gather) store-specific & manually done... So basically it would be at the manager's discretion for markdown and such...

If it sits for a while talk to the manager and make an offer... Usually the last couple items of something clearanced they just want to get rid of and out of their way...

.00 pricing is indefinite it seems. Might drop soon, might not. I asked the same question a year or two ago when some of the 36" DeWalt chests were .00'd. That wasn't mgr discretion, just set that way by the system

Has anyone found the Milwaukee M18 Fuel Miter Saw in stock for $150?

I found one store here with that price but zero inventory. Stores with them in stock they are full price $599.

Yeah I got 2 at $150.03 about a month back

There's a pic of the front a few pages back. They aren't hard to spot as they have a distinctive feature on the front label.

So you went in asking an employee to help you find penny electrical tape?

Gonna have to find me one of them. Almost bought one a couple weeks ago but held off. Now im glad i did! Thanks!

Make sure it will work with your head obviously. .130 isn't a common "residential" size. Usually .080 or .095 at the biggest.

Still learning how this all works. I knew enough not to ask for the penny tape...lol. I found some in their set spot but also in random areas however one store the guy said it's not the same penny one but it looked exactly correct to me. That's why I asked for the UPC or barcode on bottom .

Another store I found only 2... still was very happy cause it would have been a penny and 2nd cause I don't find many deals at any HD near me. Anyhow, the guy said it's penny out but I'm not allowed to sell it...i can get into trouble. I can sell it to you for $2.50 ea. Being still very new I was not sure best option so settled for his deal.

Here is my main issue...i truly just like tools and want to start building my garage up with great gear. I'm not a re-seller and not knocking anyone's side hustle but I feel like between the employees getting the deals and the re-sellers... I'm not never going get the hang of this.

Any tips or anyone in the NY area willing to help a fellow tool enthusiast... please let me know.

There's literally nothing anyone can tell you to overcome this "hurdle". Either you put in the time to scope out deals, or you miss out. Those are really the only options.

HD takes a LOT of leg work. To consistently get the deals it's a full time gig. If your time is worth anything the "savings" are mostly just perceived. But still fun to look once in awhile (for me)

If you really want to outfit your shop you're better to watch this entire forum closely and try to score online deals from the comfort of your chair. HD online has twice had weird (low) pricing on toolboxes and Milwaukee power tools.

Watch other sales, promos and AWD (Amazon Warehouse Deals)

I'm not knocking the HD in-store stuff w the PCA, just saying nothing is free in this world, it's merely a choice of how you choose to spend your time.
