Let them do it. That’s how we thin out the thief’s and the deal hunters.

Once they scan your ID/License and issue you store credit your *** is in the watch list. (TRE) the retail equation will not only ban them from HD but from other merchants that work with TRE.

Agreed. Not sure why people rub these things in others faces and then brag how quickly they sell. Really need to find a way to police these flippers.

Except the person you are quoting was referring to buying clearance at one store, then returning without a receipt at a full price store. Nothing about buying with the intent to resell (flippers).

Why would HD care about people reselling stuff, if they bought it legitimately from a store? I grabbed some of the 8gal gas compressors last time around (found on my own, then posted deal to GJ), and when I picked them up, asst manager wished me luck flipping on CL. Didn't play any shady games, bought at price I was willing to pay, knowing I could make money.

Because some people are haters. Or think resale is illegal. And they stupid. Etc etc.

I was replying to him, not referring to him. If people want to spend hours of their time to make $30 more power to them but that isn't the intention of this board. So for someone to come here, show pics of multiple of an item then a few posts later say how quickly they sold is annoying and quite honestly it just clutters the thread. Sort of like these posts.

I'm not sure why the guys from the private forum keep coming back here posting old deals or just generally giving people ****. I'm glad you're all so proud of yourselves and your big box store clearance careers. Pros do it from home. Still don't know why you guys banned me without any warning.
Nice!! I missed where you posted that deal? What was it for? Hopefully I can still get it...

This is dumb as hell, but from here on any mention of a private forum will get your account closed. Sick of dealing with that **** and the fallout from a bunch of guys that have enough time to do that kind of thing.

A local store has a bunch of those Ryobi kits. I am a "red" tool guy so far, but when I had a Ryobi electric string trimmer was tempted to buy the kit... still may for the batteries as the wife may want a nice cordless trimmer for her garden.... the other 1.5 acres however rely on my John Deere and a gas powered Stihl trimmer. lol.

So yeah, how are the Ryobi tools? Wondering if worth investing as most of my tools right now are the Milwaukee M12 which are perfect for working under the hood and most round the house stuff.

Ryobi's are fine for regular home owner use. I have the glue gun and a blower, and I have tried their drill/drivers. Plenty of power. Nice and inexpensive.

That said there are times where I need more power. Which is why I went with Milwaukee.

I'm quite happy with my 1/2 $50 Ryobi cordless impact. Would prefer the Milwaukee a couple pages back, but couldn't find any local to me

May have to grab a couple of those paint trays.

unfortunately haven't found much in terms of good deals since the deckmate hunt of 2018. Berlin CT store had a ton of paint rollers on sale, same as someone posted a picture of pages back ($4-8 each, higher quality than I typically use)

I was all Milwaukee too, but picked up a couple of Ryobi yardwork tools. I use the "MIL-18V" Ryobi to Milwaukee battery adapter on Amazon so I could stick with all of my Milwaukee batteries and just buy bare Ryobi stuff. Works perfect.

I'm waiting for the Gorilla 22' ladders to go back on sale for $99.

Anyone know when HD's next nation-wide sale will be?

Someone please school me on nap rollers. I'm assuming I would want to use a smooth nap roller to apply PVA primer to Fresh drywall?

No spectacular deals but did see a few things on clearance today I have not seen posted yet.

Hopefully they will be reduced more soon.

Use 3/8" nap.
Heavier IF course or rough surface

Buy a quality roller, that will make the biggest difference.
I also sand (lightly) between coats
-I tried sanding once and now I always sand with 100grit before washing down the walls with a damp sponge.

Another trick is to back roll. Pros spray then back roll.

I have one of those glue guns. The squeeze handle is short so you can only get a couple of fingures on it. If you have a lot to gloe fatigue sets in fast. YMMV

like getting a great deal on a 5AH on ebay, and getting the charger and the blower for free. . . . . . . twice. those kits have been gone a long time here.

Yea, I’ve been keeping an eye on these for a while now. Batteries alone are why I really wanted them. I got around 5-6 of the tool only ones last fall for 38.03
