How do those prices compare to what you can get used on CL? I was thinking about looking for a used one, but if I can get new for just a few bucks more, may go that route!
Not sure, not a lot in my area. If you do find some, I would inspect them before leaving. 2 of the Cyclone 120s I got had loose/broken drain valves. Sure, they probably could be sealed with some caulk, but the QA is lacking.

Seems like most of the Milwaukee stuff on clearance @ HD is all Fuel. The non-fuel power tools appear to be all discontinued and no longer available. Could this be true everywhere?

I recall seeing a Milwaukee Nailer on clearance at HD last year for $70. Although, still not sure if that was an M18 or Pneumatic. Anyone came across similar item at their local store at that low of a price? I'm trying to not think about it too much, but after picking clearance deals in the last couple of months, I feel I could have done some more research prior to save more on other Milwaukee stuff in the past.

It seems like the norm now, with older stock being cleared at dramatically-reduced prices and newer models coming in at close to MSRP.

They usually pull before 06 or 03 pricing around here.

This was $325.00 (clearance) at my store with One (1x) High Demand 9.0 Battery. They have two 2717 rotary;s in stock up high in the racks on clearance. Should I have grabbed it? :dunno:

Wow that was fast
Also, was kinda pissed when I learned that I could use Lowes 10% coupons at HD

There are newer models of the tools in that kit. I purchased the new hammer drill and surge driver during a Labor Day sale for under $320.

I use the Ace Hardware coupons as well, and beyond a newer cashier asking a supervisor, never had a problem. A few times a year, they have a 25% off any item up to $50, or $12.50 off thereafter, and at least on BF weekend a 50% off an item up to $30 or $15 off thereafter. I usually ask my neighbors for their BF one, and hope my weekend takes me near a few different HD's.

I don’t chase the HD deals anymore since I can no longer query the DB but I think this is incorrect. .02 should be last before a penny and is typically 75% of original price.

.02 is last drop from.04 pricing..03 pricing is last drop from .06. Its two different schemes.

Does anyone know what the original deal was on the 2717 Milwaukee Rotary Max? I can't seem to locate it in previous posts. Its showing $325.00 on my end with a free 9.0HD battery, and they have a couple in stock at clearance price.

$299 bare tool

Was it really a good deal?

I see a bunch of 2717’s lurking on eBay between $390 and $430 (retail $650). The clearance ones I came across comes with the battery (2717-21). Two in stock and for $325

Battery alone costs $169 when not on sale

People think they're getting a deal when a free battery is included in their purchase. I can't even separate the kits. A better deal is when getting a free retail packaged battery with a bare tool, then I can return extra batteries that I don't need

At one point could get two batteries with rapid charger for $200, but now my local store charges $200 for one battery with rapid charger

They're already admitting that we're being overcharged. Its increasingly difficult to reproduce clearance deals at the majority of stores I'm at.

You think I should pick up the two 2717’s rotary in stock?

I debated getting one, but still have a 2713 sitting in a box I got for ~$130, though it does have a future project assigned to it. I would have sold mine, and upgraded, but figured for how little it would get used, it is one tool I don't need. With the battery for $325, I actually had a msg to you opened to see if you wanted to pick it up for me. Then I realized I'm going to have a vet dentist bill soon of similar proportions, probably more. I like tools, love her.

If you will ever need an rotary, I say I'd go for one for yourself. You will always get your money back, I meanI guess some beat the snot out of their tools preventing decent resale, but if you are contemplating buying one, it seems you aren't going to be using it too much. More you want the best tool at the lowest price for when you do need to hammer some ****. At least that's my thinking on getting it .

& I say get the 2nd to sell, or hold for me :lol_hitti

I edited my last post, got a little emotional as to how these deals drive us nuts. They overcharge up front, and then to lurk customers to the store on a daily basis they target Milwaukee products mainly for their ever-so-often scavenger hunt (Easter Eggs) deals

According to Brickseek, there is one saleable quantity, but the associate told me they're two and pointed them up for me. I'll snag whatever I can get and see if it will benefit me

I use a corded 7/8" Hitachi SDS time to time (heck, costed $70 at time of purchase), but its not regularly used like my Milwaukee drill and driver combo.

The 2717-21HD (comes with a 9.0HD battery), if I don't need the battery, I can perhaps benefit from an upgrade. Or if the SDS is too much for my needs, I can get sell the bare tool alone and benefit with a free 9.0HD battery (based on my calculation)

I accidentally picked up the Rocket light for $100, I find it more beneficial for tradesmen than the average DIY'er. Going to test it assess the scalability of this light

Well I've seen plenty of stuff at very good prices with .00 pricing, so that's why I'm asking.
DeWalt miter saw stands half off, $60.00
DeWalt DCB1800w power station with batteries half off, $300
DeWalt DCS361M1 20v 7-1/4" miter saw with battery 45% off, $200

I thought 00 is the max that store wants that particular item discounted before further potential reductions are made, I'm not sure
