I really like the Empire brand levels & squares, but you have to be careful, not *all* of them are made in USA... There were some squares I was looking at there were made in India I think...

One of review photos shows it says "Made in USA with global materials"

Was it tagged .01 in the store? I don't get how you guys find these things that ring up .01. My stores never has diddly squat out.
They were up in the rafters not tagged at all

not sure what you mean, but around here they price checkers are not guarded.

I misunderstood you, we don't have price checkers other than the at the self check out. I'd kill to have them placed around the store. I have to use the computers in appliances or doors and windows now that they got rid of them up front. We don't even have a dedicated customer computer.

Some stores have individual wall mounted price checkers in aisles. Depends on your location. Newer self checkouts have ditched the price checker option, which ***** as my main store just switch to that. The newer self checkout also comes with a scan gun, and the register overlord can switch to the master menu from the checkout machine instead of needing a separate center machine. Times a changing.

We do not have price checkers.

We do not have price checkers either. One of my stores doesn't even have a clearance section. There's some random "deals" through the building but on the shelves where the items belong. Most stores around me do have a picked over clearance cap or 2.

Correct, in MA if a store has an X amount of items in store, they must have a self service price checker.

I used one of the new HD SC and now disappointed the price check is gone, didnt notice that.

Though all my stores now have a out facing PC at regular cust service even though many of them now have Pro PCs always inward.

Pretty sure there’s some kind of law requiring those in mass.

Picking a set of these up today after checking pricing for each on other sites. Very good deal in my book.

I'm very jealous. My local store had one of those on the clearance shelf that I had been watching since summer. They kept putting weird discounts on it, not the usual 75/50/25% off. Someone else bought it before it got to under $200 though. I have one of their smaller 18v blowers that I use to clean out my woodshop, but the 36v looks so much beefier. Good score, worth it just for the batteries.

Never said it was. But if something sells for $60 and is only on sale for 25, is it really a steel?

Retail is $99. Amazon deal during black friday is $69...can almost buy 3 for the price of 1 during amazons sale... To some it's a "steel" if this device is something on your radar.

Hey guys. The bickering *****. I deleted it. If this isn't the first time you've had a post on this thread deleted and you value your account here, you might want to chill out a bit. Hammer is getting heavy.

I say this with all due respect and on bended knee if that's what you require but you need to know that you ruined this thread long ago. It's really too bad, we had new penny deals daily until you started throwing around your E-go.

If I had an ego, I’d ban you for stepping on it. So, can you just be cool?

Look fellas - I just don’t like to host name calling and drama. That’s not going to change.

This place isn’t here for couponers. But y’all are welcomed to use it... all I ask is that you just be decent to each other. That’s literally all I’m trying to do.

Edit: AND, if you guys have suggestions on how I can stop people from bagging on each other, I'm all ears. I've tried to reach out in the past without much luck. PM me.

Finally had time to swing by HD in what feels like forever. Lots of lighting stuff marked down at what seems like managers discretion.

Polk speakers at .06

Husky air hose reel also at .06.

The previously mentioned but not expanded on Amazon devices are dots and echos...

I just found this site today. I’ve been playing the HD clearance game now for about a year. Happy to be joining. I’m watching the scaleblaster sb-75 clearance recently. It’s currently at $50.03 (75% off) with an original clearance date of 5/21/18. I thought it would go to a penny on Wednesday but it didn’t. Is the normal transition to a penny at 6 months or 8 months? I’ve heard different opinions.

I wouldn't chance that myself. When it drops, either you will miss it or MET will pull the item
