Finally had time to swing by HD in what feels like forever. Lots of lighting stuff marked down at what seems like managers discretion.

Polk speakers at .06

Husky air hose reel also at .06.

The previously mentioned but not expanded on Amazon devices are dots and echos...

Those HD reels pennied a long time ago here, could have been the old model but seems like they put them on clearance quick as I picked them up not that long ago. They were on the .04/.02 schedule here too.

I just found this site today. I’ve been playing the HD clearance game now for about a year. Happy to be joining. I’m watching the scaleblaster sb-75 clearance recently. It’s currently at $50.03 (75% off) with an original clearance date of 5/21/18. I thought it would go to a penny on Wednesday but it didn’t. Is the normal transition to a penny at 6 months or 8 months? I’ve heard different opinions.

I picked one up early this year for the unicorn price, open box and missing the coil but the manufacturer sent a new coil.

My Black Friday Find $50.00 each :) :bounce:

Nice! Mines has a dent on one corner from an attempt to hoist it onto a bottom cab by myself.

From the old clearance or a new round?
Details!

I am not sure my store never seems to clearance anything much but I noticed these on shelf while picking up a few BF items needed. Below is what it says on receipt but they could not find a skew so I looked at HD.com and gave them one and they rang up at 50 each. I am pretty sure I may have given them the wrong skew but oh well deal for me.

MILWAUKEE 46 IN 8DRAWER TOOL CHEST
[email protected] 100.00 (Plus I used 10% coupon)

Ok now any ideas what to do with these bad boys since no bottom cabinets can be found anywhere?

Nice score on those. You can put them in a truck bed or buy another toolbox to put them on, they don't need to sit on top of Milwaukee boxes. I have a black Craftsman box on top of my Matco box.

I bought one yesterday for $50.03 for that very reason.

have you seen any reviews that purport to show before and after on the insides of pipes ?
my limited understanding of sonic waves leads me to think that like 5ft or so from the coil wrap the pipes wont get worse but def wont get significantly less scaly.
my 2 cents, this is good for a new home but likely a waste in an older one unless you are putting in lots of new appliances, fixtures, pipes, etc. and even then you will want to install this a month or so prior bc there will supposedly be a lot of schmoo coming loose after install..
the personal health benefits will likely be negligible since nothing is being removed, its just being shookup/broke down

This Ryobi garage door opener is $148 in-store. YMMV of course as it isn't listed online that way. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Ryobi-U...ickid=xu51G-Vqd3JzzUsVTlWt5TLUUkgyYZRgETtnT80

I picked one up today from the East Hanover, NJ, store. I think it's a better deal than the $98 Chamberlain deal they have, primarily due to the addition of the accessories and WiFi control.

Let me know what you think of it when you install it. My HD has about 10 instock. Just waiting to see if it works ok. Thanks

Just read a bunch of reviews on Amazon and they seem to indicate it reduces calcium scale. I plan to use it at our land on our well. Plan to install prior to the pressure tank to help cut down on scale build up in the tank and beyond. It’s all brand new. Trying to avoid having to get a water softener. Well have multiple buildings off of this one well so my hope is to get 4 or 5 more at a penny and put additional units on each building for additional breakup. It’s a shot.

gotcha. may not even be worth a penny depending on power consumption...
on my understanding, just one will be sufficient for the entire system if it truly works. another unit near a seldom used appliance or faucet will only help the tiny portion that is wrapped in the coil. it wont do anything if the water isnt flowing past it. youre better off just opening the faucet more often. theres probably some 'smart' device that would let you turn on faucets remotely or on a timer (ie open all seldom used spickets at 3am daily for 2 mins)

Won't have time to install it very soon, need to get the car out of the bay that needs the opener first. Lots of gripes about the remotes not connecting well, but not sure how much area these people are trying to cover. This is just for a standard 8' door on one side of a 22x24' garage.

If I had an ego, I’d ban you for stepping on it. So, can you just be cool?

Look fellas - I just don’t like to host name calling and drama. That’s not going to change.

This place isn’t here for couponers. But y’all are welcomed to use it... all I ask is that you just be decent to each other. That’s literally all I’m trying to do.

Edit: AND, if you guys have suggestions on how I can stop people from bagging on each other, I'm all ears. I've tried to reach out in the past without much luck. PM me.

Someone please explain how the kit return setup works. I want to buy the kit 6-piece however I won't need the flashlight or the radio and to my belief you can return the unneeded stuff for store credit based upon the combo kit price is that correct?

If I remember correctly the prices are broken down on the receipts individually? I tried to speak to a store manager about this and they seem clueless

If it's sold as a kit then you cannot return any part of it. If it is sold as an item plus a free item say buy a drill get a free individually wrapped battery "free" you can then return one item or the other for a prorated amount that will be printed on the receipt at the time of purchase.

That’s not how it works, a kit is a kit. People are returning a separate promo battery in its own retail packaging.

Ah okay, I am still debating on the 6 piece Ridgid with the 2 free items or just the Gen5x 5 piece setup for 299

Just bought what was left of plastic electrical conduit. They had put penny stickers on the shelf. Got the penny ones for a penny and the .03 for half of that.YMMV

Anyone know how the dewalt regular 20v drills are? That deal of the day is pretty temping.

We are mostly milwaukee, but a couple cheap dewalt kits aren't bad to have around with the extra tools they have included.

I've been using the 20v drill and impact driver for almost a year now I suppose...I like them...but most of my power tools are now Dewalt 20v...so maybe I'm biased.

Does anyone know what the 1/2 fuel mid-torques should be at Home Depot now? $150?

I bought one Monday at $150. They had two total. I was planning on watching the other one and if it dropped bring mine back, etc. Went in Tuesday morning an it was gone. So it looks like $150 is it. A guy a few pages back got them for $50 I think. My Home Depot is a low volume store. But clearance doesn’t last very long either.

All I know is it took the lug nuts off my truck without blinking. I like it already. This is the beginning of my switch over from DeWalt I believe.

Picked these rainbird rotor heads up for free from my HD today. They aren’t in the system anymore (even though they rang up as a penny at customer service) so sales lady said she had to give them to me. She tried to take them from me and said she couldn’t sell them but I asked politely if I could buy them for a reduced price. She then called the manager and he instructed her to give them to me at no cost. Just be polite! 872e3e68bd79bc179268c739b5f543b8.jpg
