Yeah. Easy swap. a1b2d2e4b54329503c8bd47b1dacf0c6.jpg

Where is the best place to buy the anvil?

I found a few of the 2860-21 kits on clearance today and after trying 3 floor employees and the cashier I ended up at the customer service desk asking for a discount and surprisingly she gave me an extra $15 off the $150 clearance price!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how poorly informed the companies reps are? *cough* Milwaukee.
I had one call it a Stackout (Packout), when I asked the runtime another told me the m12 2.0a would keep the inflator running for a couple weeks? Today I heard him telling a customer the new Milwaukee wrenches/ratchets were way better than snap on etc...

Anyway on that note: new Milwaukee ratchets and wrenches means a large pile of clearance husky equivalents in my store. All were 50% off. Offset wrenches, impact lug nut sockets. Etc. keep an eye out.

It is annoying when you truly have a question and you know tons more then the store employee or the rep.

'the milwaukee rep' is a shelf stocker... that is all.
the impact and hacker kits have bottomed out at 150 and 125... hacker is past due for its .06 here...
fwiw, the bare impact was like $43.03 here in spring-ish time

anyone have a link to buy the anvil??

The 1/2 in. Husky wheel protector impact socket set (3-piece) (HD2DIWPSS) is $13 (down from $26) in some stores. That's putting it down quite a bit from even Harbor Freight prices per piece but still made in Taiwan. For comparison: https://www.harborfreight.com/12-in-drive-sae-metric-lug-nut-impact-sockets-7-pc-69781.html

The 1/2 in. Drive Speed Collar impact extension (H2DSPINHNDLEXT) is also $13 at some stores (down from $21.97). Made in Taiwan.

This is around my area.

I didn't buy any of those sockets because hub caps and galvanized steel lugs.

you have a typo there. should be 'H2DIWPSS'

It is annoying when you truly have a question and you know tons more then the store employee or the rep.

A customer was asking if he should go Dewalt or Milwaukee on BF weekend to a HD employee. The employee thankfully recommend the Milwaukee, but his answer to the next question made my jaw drop, and mad me **** in. How long will the 2ah battery last. His answer was 2 hours. So I asked then how long will that 2ah in a blower? "Oh, well that's different." I then had to point out the time will vary depending alone on what you are drilling into, or what kind of bit. The customer could easily tell he chose the wrong guy to talk to.

Nice! I got $25 each each. Got two of them.

Got my anvils from eBay. I think it can be order directly thru Milwaukee too.

GREAT deal on that fan. Just picked up the Arctic cove model for $20 but the M18 would be great. All my closest stores are still at 79.99 full stock.

Damn. My local HD still has this for $79, and customer service wouldn't price match even when I showed her your picture. I guess being in south Florida these fans are useful all year round so no reason to clearence them?

If any body bought one of these for the discounted price, can you post a picture of your reciept? Maybe I'll have better luck getting a price match off that?

This must be a very old picture and almost impossible to duplicate since almost all HD never price match to clearance price or store. Besides that Pic shows zero quantity... I have seen some very old clr pics still in HD pc computers and almost nobody has the item.. It's a wild goose chase.

I have that set. You can definitely tell they are a $10 set but good enough for what I use them for.
Yeah sometimes you get a deal sometimes you get what you pay for. I got a Kobolt 3 piece cressent wrench set @ Lowes one time I thought how bad could it be. It was bad very poorly made. I took it back. Early 90's Lowes house brand cressent wrench I have is very nicely made

I have one of these and it's really nice.

https://surebonder.com/collections/battery-adapter

They let you use milwaukee, DeWalt or Makita batteries in Ryobi tools.

LOL, can never find the one pic I'm looking for quickly. Cheapest way to buy multiple on eBay with coupon, as the shipping seems high for just one, at least for what is shipped.

Two things to be aware of. The adapter does not work on all tools because of that hump on the adapter and it will not be as powerful as a Rypbi HP battery in their brushless tools (less battery connections). A few people 3D print adapters that do not have the hump problem.

based on the images and youtube the battery goes in a sealed enclosure to keep water out on the fan, not sure with an adapter a M18 5.0 or even 9.0 could clear the enclosure.

once they go voodo price I might try getting one along with the get adapter :)

Ya that's correct, the arctic fan does have an enclosure. I actually have a couple (one at <$20 pricing, 2nd was at voodoo). I just wanted the extra fan, not the misting, so no safety cover on one of mine.

If that link doesn’t work...
Milwaukee 14pc holesaw Kit : $10.03
SKU: 1000015983

Surprising, as that was the BF set. That's a lot of under 30 day sales that arguably I'd go back for an adjustment for. First time in years I haven't bought a new one too.

I also notice that the clearance pricing is based off $39.99 as an original price, rather than the $79.99 it normally went for.

What are the chances of getting the store to haggle on this toolbox? It was $248 at Spring Black Friday, then went to a $309 retail price, then up to $398 a few weeks before Black Friday, on sale for $298 during Black Friday, now back at regular $398. There were 31 in inventory around Black Friday, and they still have 30 in inventory now. I am wondering if I could mention that it used to be on sale for $248 and see if they would match that price. I would buy 2 of them at that price. The fact that they have only sold 1 of them in the past 3 weeks might help.

Depends on what mood the store people are in. Also how much they have already given away.

After working at a electronic retailer that closely monitored daily performance metrics, it seems the busiest & slowest days are best to all for a discount. On a busy day, a couple semi-large markdowns and it gets drowned out in all the other sales. On they other hand, when the store is super slow, a mgr is likely to play a little ball. Offset to sign up for their Christmas card if you think that will put them over the edge. Credit apps are like honey to a bear for them. It's worked for me on a couple of occasions

very high chances, tell them you didn't want it at $248 and that now you want it at $248 and if they wont do it that you will stop spending thousands at their store and going to lowes.

or just wait 4 months and get them at 75% off
