Been keeping an eye on these for awhile. Still showing $198 in the PCA but marked and rang up for $99.

Are deals like that typically store dependent? I could REALLY use x2 of those...might be worth stopping by my HD on my way home from work to see if ours are running that too, but I assume deals like that must be store specific...

Most items will get clearanced at all stores, sometimes only the largest or the ones that actually sell the product will keep it in stock at regular price, but while it may not happen it at the same time, most stores will get rid of the item.

PCA is always accurate price. Never saw one that rang up differently

I have found it is ALMOST always accurate. I have had the same experience where it rang up a difference price then the PCA (price check app). Though the PCA said .03 pricing and it rang up for full price.

But this was one item in the many many many items I have checked.

I picked up the new M12 Surge impact the other day, got the one with the charger and 2 batteries and then a free 2.0 battery and the rep was there and gave me another 20 off so I paid $179 for all of it.

Was able to pick up a garage door opener, my store had about 20 of them, marked correctly. Thank for that.

306254479 for future reference, look it up on HD.com. That number is on the same line as the sku, above the pictures.

I've found that the number doesn't always populate in the URL and I didn't realize it was on the page. Maybe desktop version only? Thanks!

at $198, I'd be tempted to get a second one. They're pretty handy and you can suite them to fit your shop.

What price check app do you guys use/recommend?

Thanks, Bruce

The best way that I have found to check your local store's inventory is brickseek.

https://brickseek.com/home-depot-inventory-checker/?sku=306254479

You have to have the internet ID# (which can be found on HD's website). That link already has it entered in. Just change it to your zip code and search. Brickseek will usually show your local store's current inventory, which the home depot website and app does not after an item is put on clearance. My local store has several of those openers so I may end up going out and picking some up today. My electric goes off often enough for that battery backup to be very handy.

Just found the last 2 in Victor NY. Perfect considering the one working opener I have is from the 70's and has been struggling. I did have to drive further to get them as I originally went to Henrietta as brickseek showed in stock, but we couldn't find them.

Why

No reason. Just kidding. When I went to pick up 2, inventory said 16...when. I was in parking lot, it showed 8. I was in the garage door section looking for them. None on display. Associate asks me "Looking for the garage door opener on clearance?" He got 2 for me. 6 left.

Picked up 2 of these on my way home from work - thanks!

I was tempted to buy them all and put them right up on amazon...

Just installed one of the $99 garage door opener. Really nice unit. Quiet, and like the outdoor keypad.

How was install? Ive never installed an opener before.

Glad to hear they're quiet - thats one of the big reasons I got 2. One of my garage doors has an older opener but its right under our bedroom and makes a racket when its opening. The second garage door has never had an opener so it'll be nice to have both doors on openers.

Not bad, but I was replacing an old one, so it was mostly just take old one down, put new up. A new install will obviously take more work with l iron for hanging of unit. Also bracket on garage door. I would figure on 4 hours taking your time.

Just swapped out a craftsman opener for the $99 Chamberlain. Except for some new features it was an identical unit to the 14 year old unit. Made installation pretty easy even though I didn’t reuse any of the old parts except for the wiring for the sensors and control pad.

Hope to get one of my 2 installed soon. Im replacing one old opener from I believe the 70's. No safety features at all. The other one will replace another old, no longer working unit of similar age, but after I install a new door.

I found ONE of the garage door openers in Wake Forest, NC (just north of Raleigh). It was in the very back with a pile of the new models in front of it. Damned if it didn't ring up at $99. Very, very lucky.

Thank you OP.

No luck down here in Florida on the garage opener. I’ve been watching them for about a year now too. Missed out on the ryobi one earlier.

my local HD had the Milwaukee M18 mud mixer (bare tool only) on clearance for $120.00. Originally it is $199.99. They didn't have any left when I stopped by and they refused to sell me the display model. They also checked their inventory and other stores nearby without luck. I called HD's toll free number to place an order and told them about the clearance price. They knocked off $50.00 from the online price of $199.99 with free shipping to my house. So with tax, I had to pay an extra $30 by buying it from HD online and getting the $50 off deal (total was $157.00 with tax) vice if I was able to get it for $120.00 plus tax (127.00).

I checked Amazon and other stores online and I only could find refurbished tools selling for just under $150.00.

there were two of those around here in the discount end cap.

there were also one in the regular section, but didnt have a yellow tag on it, so I assume that it would ring as full price. or does the SKU not change, and it would have scanned at 120?

Unless the tag says “this item only” then the SKU itself is a clearance item and even ones without yellow tags will scan discounted. If the item is the only one discounted the yellow tag will say “this item only.”

My local HD PCA says my store has one m18 fuel drywall gun kit with the bonus cutout tool in stock. Clearance at about $138.

Has anyone had luck with these special packaged products? I looked around the overhead but didn’t find anything. These are harder to track down because they have special model numbers and skus that can’t be searched.
I’m not sure if the tools were boxed together or if the cutout tool was free with it?
Any advice on this one?

Cut out tool came in a promo box inside with dry wall gun kit. Holiday special last year. Rare to find them now.

Maybe this can help some of us find the deals 3d84ca9e393f04a11f16437e215c5b94.jpg

Haha!

I found these snow tubes at a store in South Central Texas a few weeks back. An area that receives an average of 0 inches of snow per year.

Thank God the Virgin of Guadalupe is protected from Jesus' odors by that can of Fire Odor Bomb. I'm sure He can get smelly from sending all those people to the fires of hell... :D
