If anyone was watching any of the Wagner paint sprayers, they went down to .02 pricing. Only sku I have is for the Wagner smart sidekick powered paint roller.
Sku# 1000-035-167
Orig $84, now $21.02

The rollers for it are a buck and change now too.

Ridgid 14gal shopvac with bonus car kit. $25.03 Looks exactly like the regular 14 gal packages but has a different model # (ends in a 1 instead of a zero.). Also has a picture of the bonus kit on the front. If your store shows in stock it is probably mixed with the regular ones in the overhead.

Hey Winlinmac, would it be possible for you to edit the first post to tell us what the different pricing number endings mean? I can't recall what .02 etc mean for home depot

It's a joke at my store, dewalt miter saw is still $400 but you dont get the stand now. Dewalt compressor/nail hungry kit $190....I paid that last summer just randomly needing it.

The dewalt tablesaw I was hoping would drop in price are all gone. I dont know about you guys but the clearance section at my store is a joke and never has anything worth buying.

Thanks so much! I had to scour a few stores, but finally found a pair thanks to Brickseek’s inventory checker. As always, no employees know where these are, so it’s on you to find it. You have to look up! This is where I found my vac:

Thanks again to the folks in this thread! I was able to “treasure hunt” the 200pc Husky socket set for $25 the same way last year.

One store in my area shoes 3 available. I headed there yesterday afternoon and walked isles looking up until my neck was sore. No such luck for me.

Sounds like the store is properly managed. Clearance items are obviously not profitable for the stores.

What am I doing wrong???

I found that Rigid Vac in a couple of local stores (both on Brickseek and the HD site). However, it's coming up as $109.00. I'm in MA.

I tried switching to a store in (Phoenix) AZ, based on the post by may0naise. Still comes up as $109.

How do you clearance prices from one part of the country to apply in another like KSJeff did for the socket set?

They usually show full price online--I've always had to go into the store to see the clearance discounts

The hardest thing to find in Home Depot, is an employee that knows what they're doing. I've NEVER had any luck with ANY of them locating ANY item that their inventory says they have several of... and when I say several, I mean at least six.

There plenty that aren’t knowledgeable, yet. That can be common among newer employees.
As far as stocking, it is part employee, part how the store is run. If it is run properly, overstock can also managed in their system, allowing them to find extras fairly easy when they run out on the floor. So if the management enforces & utilizes this, finding stock should be relatively easy. Again, of course only if they do their job properly.

And that's why WE find the deals!!!

OK, does it help to show a picture like the one in this thread, or should it just scan / ring up correctly?

Some stuff online is regional so you need to buy it online with a store for that region selected and then do a free ship to your local location for in store pickup.

For in store stuff it is on a per store basis so most of them are YMMV.

Thanks. I tried that, by picking the store in Phoenix. I still got the high price.

Obviously, I'm missing something???

My store had to create an entire section in the front of the store because they have so many toolboxes. If you are in the market, keep an eye on them, I'm sure they will need to clear them once spring stuff starts coming in.

homedepot's clearance is super random and often store specific. you can regularly find items that will ring up as a penny at one store and then drive 15 mins to another store and find it full price there. they will NOT price match their own other store's clearance prices. even employees are unable to check if something is clearance at other stores or tell you the price at another store. you can also add that online pricing is never reflective of a store's clearance price like lowes does, so you cant really clearance hunt depot through their webpage.

A store I was in here in CT had the same setup, with the same deal you posted. They also had this: (1004-399-376) I don’t even need any more storage and I almost took that box home...
